Who Is Switch?
Switch is an 18 year old producer, called Scott Bailey, from Bolton, England.

Why Did I Start Producing Music?
I started off producing music after being inspired by Avicii and his track "Levels" in 2011. I heard levels on the radio and it was like no other songs that I had ever heard, It was different, and I wanted to know how it was made. Upon searching for how the track was made, I found a video of Avicii working on another track, Dancing In My Head (www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dIcuU58Oy8). This was where I discovered FL Studio."

My First Creations:
"Since I wanted to make my own tracks, I went and downloaded the demo to FL Studio 10 and quickly discovered that it wasn't as easy as it looked. I would spend hours making random sounds that just didn't work together and I would just leave them as that. It was only until mid 2014 that I actually started to try and create my own songs, a good 2-3 years later than I started with FL Studio. I went and got FL Studio 11 and began working on some ideas using some of the melodies that I had previously created. I started up a youtube channel under the name "Switch" (www.youtube.com/channel/UCSB4edvWbGZEMTkZdbZGpTQ) and started to upload my creations. At first they weren't too great, so I deleted some of them and the ones that I thought weren't too bad I kept so that people can see how I have developed as an artist over time. As I learned to do more things with my productions, I began remaking my current tracks to sound better. When I had a good amount of tracks, I took some of them and created a free EP for people to download.

Youtube:
Youtube has been a great tool for me to use for sharing my music because it allows me to find people that like my music and interact with them so easily. Youtube has been the main platform that I have used for sharing my music and because of this I have been able to build up a following of over 1,000 subscribers over the last year.

Inspirations:
Most of my inspiration when creating a track comes from artists that I like to listen to when i'm not working on my own music. I also like to be inspired by my surroundings too, since I live in an area that is close to countrysides and cities.
