So there we are. Teenage years are over, the wild times are still ahead, though. Keinemusik turns twenty – all hands in the air! In celebration of this biographical moment of glory the whole crew is circling up in brotherly and sisterly embrace. Make an high-angle shot, what does it look like? Like a ring of course. So therefore youʼll find the signet ring on this picture discʼs A-side. 

The flip is tagged with what this symbol of companionship is leaving, once itʼs used properly. So thereʼs a signed and sealed big up to everyone who has supported keinemusik so far. No. 20 prettied itself up a bit and commends itself as a nice little collectorʼs item. Still as a decent spinning item as well, containing these pumping features: 

On A1 (aka the ring side) David Mayer opens up with “Machinedrum Calypso”, a relentless Tech-monster with classy percussive decoration, lurking single notes, malicious synths and a roller coaster ride of breaks and full tilt. Perfect opener! 

Next in line is “Think”, falling out of &MEʼs never failing machines. Initially, the kick tends to hide behind some cryptically cut vocal-scraps, but once itʼs grooving at full level, thereʼll be no dry corner left on the floor. Add some sub-bassy guts massage and some highly effective break-stuffing and you have a picture of this guyʼs current sure shot. 

The seal side contains another surprising new Adam Port-cut. “Burana” starts out as a funked out, crackling Disco-beat-skeleton, incorporates a tongue in cheek bassline and some offset hi-hats and once in a while is raising up to cloud nine of synth-paradise. Devoid of any vocal trace there is a potential secret favourite grooving from second row. 

Rampa is aiming for an unlike feisty spot landing for the grand finale. His “AY” offers microscopic fiddling on his percussive tribal rataplan and some decent feverish shaman dance. As a counterpart, he inserts an übercool bass into the background and if needed, an übercool bass into the foreground as well. One glimpse should show that ʻpeaktimeʼ is written all over this bitch.

Since Richie Hawtin played this track in his Boiler Room Set on Ibiza, many people have been asking about this Joyce Muniz collab. The track features fresh vocals by Bam (formerly known as MC Baby Bam) from the legendary 90ies hip-hop group The Jungle Bothers (Native Tongues/Zulu Nation). The beat is based around a sample from Kraftwerk's 'It's More Fun To Compute,' and for this version we've actually got full approval from Kraftwerk (yes - guess what). So we're happy to release it now. Hope you dig it too.

As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies. Bringing his signature sound to Crosstown Rebels, delightfully unconventional producer SIS delivers his third release on the label, The Blind Side. Hot on the heels of his Boabab album on Mobilee, Rodriguez Jr. delivers a stunning remix on the B-side.

The Blind Side is set to soundtrack the summer, an incredibly infectious track with its exotic and intricate drum workouts and alluring vocal cuts. On the flip, Rodriguez Jr. brings in deep pads, uplifting melodic keys and a storming piano lines for a whole new take on the original.

Taking his artistic enthusiasm from his Turkish father, SIS grew up in Berlin surrounded by music. Following a series of releases on Nick Curly’s Cecille, Ricardo Villalobos who loved his track Trompeta so much that he released it on his boutique label picked up the German producer Sei es Drum in 2008. His success of Trompeta led to an avalanche of recognition, Groove Magazine and ‘Newcomer of the Year’ by Raveline Mag named him both ‘Producer of the Year’. In 2011 SIS launched his own label Cocolino where he released his debut three-part album Dejame.

Olivier Mateu aka Rodriguez Jr. grew up in the south of France and moved to Paris as a young adult and soon formed the electro group The Youngsters. Signed by Laurent Garnier to F Communications, the duo released two albums and a string of successful singles. Focusing on a different alias, Rodriguez Jr. gave Olivier the freedom to run with his creativity, which can be seen in his acclaimed live shows.

Released in 2011 on the compilation «Mental Beauty » on record label, Composite Records, DJ Yellow teamed up with his friends,Tiago Fragateiro and the sublime singer Tracey K, to create the song "Special". This track had major success in the clubs and on the radio, with DJ’s like Hot Since 82 featuring it on his Pirate Ship Mix, as well as it landing in the Beatport top ten. 

Now Poussez Music has decided to re-release « Special » on vinyl and digital including a new mix of the original , DJ yellow’s Sleep No More remix, and a brand new track « Don’t you know ».

This EP will be released on 12" vinyl and digital on Poussez Music in May 2020.
