The Italian Hardstyle music icon Zatox is a fundamental character in the hard dance scene. With a career that spans over two decades, he has not only witnessed the evolution of the genre but has been a pivotal force in shaping it. From playing at iconic festivals to the groundbreaking tracks that have become anthems for an entire generation, Zatox's journey is a testament to a relentless pursuit of musical innovation.
Gerardo Roschini (Rome, Italy) uses his alter ego Zatox to bring his taste of raw and unpolished dancefloor gold to stages and clubs in all corners of the globe. His influence on the hard dance community is acknowledged worldwide, evidenced by multiple appearances in the DJ MAG TOP 100 and his presence on international stages such as Defqon1, Tomorrowland, EDC, World Club Dome, Mysteryland, and WDF Korea, among many more.
Zatox started his musical journey in the early 2000s, experimenting with sound to find a balance between capturing his inner turmoil and resonating with those sweating it out on the dancefloor. The creator of ‘Raw-Style’ (2010) continued his journey with the groundbreaking hit ‘My Life’ (2012) and maintained his success with tracks like ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ (2015) and the crowd-favorite ‘For Ever’ (2017). His latest album, ‘The Unstoppable’ (2023), reaffirms his dedication to musical experimentation, introducing new fusions of techno and intense dance music. Tracks like ‘Apollo’ and ‘Techno Power’ show a glimpse of Zatox’s future sound.
