Com Truise is the stage name of New York born electronic musician and artist, Seth Haley. His first release was the 2010 EP Cyanide Sisters. Since then, he has produced international albums, remixes, and film scores. In this episode, we talk to Seth about his influences as an artist, the direction of pop music, and Star Wars.

This June 17th & 18th marks the 27th Annual SoJo Summerfest, a two-day Kansas City music and culture festival benefitting local charities. The festival, located at Corporate Woods, used to be known as Jazz on the Woods and had the reputation for being one of the biggest smooth jazz festivals in the midwest.

With the changes, the Overland Park South Rotary Club hopes to increase the more than 1.5 million dollars it has raised for children in the last 27 years.

In this episode I talk about the upcoming festival with Marc Schaffer, Sponsorship Chair of the SoJo Summerfest (1:00) and later sit down with Miguel Caraballo from Run With It (11:20) and Derick Cunigan from Shades of Jade (22:00) to talk about music process and what it means to play in the first SoJo Summerfest.
