I didn’t really plan this one out. “Expand Horizons” started with a loop that felt like it was reaching for something—so I followed it. The drums are loose, the textures are dusty, and the whole thing moves like it’s half awake but still pushing forward.

It’s not trying to be deep, but there’s a mood in there I didn’t want to clean up. I let the mix breathe, let the imperfections stay.

This one’s a little different. “Go Back To You” came out of a quiet stretch—just me, a loop I couldn’t shake, and a mix that kept falling apart in ways I kind of liked. It’s slower, more reflective, but still rough around the edges. The drums are loose, the sample’s ghosted, and the whole thing feels like it’s trying to remember something it never fully knew.

This song doesn’t ask for your attention. This is a take on distorted beatwork that I dragged through concrete and left to simmer. I like to lean into the chaos: blown-out drums, warped low-end, and a mix that’s more feeling than finesse. It’s not polished, and that’s the point.

Gotdam

didn’t set out to make this track. “Granola” just kind of happened after I chopped some South Indian stabs that sounded like they were arguing with each other. The drums are blown out, the low-end’s unstable, and the whole thing feels like it’s held together with duct tape and spite.

It’s not clean. It’s not clever. But it moves. There’s a rhythm in the mess, and I leaned into it—no polish, no second-guessing. Just instinct, distortion, and a little bit of sleep deprivation.
