Born July 4, 2003 in South Bend, Indiana, and raised in Granger, Indiana, Zachary Richard Zellers is better known by his stage name DJ Zman. From an early age, Zellers exhibited a deep connection to music—he began mixing at age 9 and by his early teens had turned his attention to production.
Growing up, Zellers was somewhat of a loner and spent countless days, nights and hours after school and work honing his craft. He immersed himself in his headphones, the endless hours in his parents’ basement, and a relentless pursuit of being more than just a listener. His upbringing in the small-town surroundings of northern Indiana—hunting, clay-shooting, fishing, Skydiving driving past cornfields—shaped his character, but the one constant was his love for electronic music. 
In Chicago’s nightlife, Zman carved out his place not behind the decks but at the microphone. He has served as host and on-floor presence in major venues including Prysm Nightclub and The Electric Hotel—working tirelessly to keep events energized and the crowd connected. His ambition has always been clear: through his work in the club scene, he seeks the opportunity to step on stage himself one day.
While many DJs clock time behind the decks, Zman clocks time behind the scenes—navigating the logistics, building relationships, and immersing himself in the energy of the dance-floor. He credits this work time with fueling his creativity and drive as both host and producer.
In the studio, Zman is already prolific—dropping his 20th single of 2025 and pushing forward with every release. His motivation is simple yet potent: being among the crowd, working the floors, feeling the pulse of the night—all of it sharpens his vision for the future he’s building as a music-maker.
