Hailing from Sapporo, located in the northern-most region of Hokkaido, Japan. Occa will be the last participant of this season. Running his Archiv parties and is a well known figure in the Japanese underground scene. Trying to weave the ginnels of his imagination in a sort of syncretic regression. Pushes his own allegoric boundaries that unfolds his being, translucent molecules rise from above....

I'm very pleased that he participated and will be the one to guide us through this musical fascinations.

After a couple of weeks away to have fun at our Amsterdam festival, we're back with a fresh new podcast. For this one we hand over to @melinaserser who joins us at Dekmantel Selectors in Croatia this week. A graduate of the legendary DJ Koolt's DJ school, Melina is a talented artist from the fertile Uruguayan scene. She has a passion for unearthing unknown gems for the worlds of downtempo, ethnic, jazz, funk and breakbeat and has played all over the world as a result.

Her selections here show Serser's mastery of the early-evening warm-up or late night lounge world. It's a place where lilting rhythms and all manner of melodies slowly unfurl and cast their hypnotic spell. The churning grooves are dubbed out and fleshy as all manner of details come and go - prog guitars, dark leads, trippy vocal whispers. In these hyperactive times of short attention spans, Serser provides perfectly slow-release pleasures.

Taking over after Nicolas Lutz playing a magnificent sunrise set to a packed terrace is no easy task, but Adi made easy work of it on the Sunday morning of Bonanza this year. 

Kicking off at 7.30am, Adi never let the energy dip, working through house, electro and techno all underlaid with her trademark acidy sound palette. 

Listening back, this captures the sun-kissed energy of that morning perfectly.
