The ever enigmatic RAMZi graces 12th Isle with ‘Pèze-Piton’ - a 9 track visitation of the familiarly disjointed melodies and rhythms that make up our favourite sonic-nymph’s unique musical language. Driven by the self-appointed task of encouraging interspecies harmony (to which we gladly lend a helping hand), each song stands as an anthem for this unified global biota; trudging considerations and skittish proclamations offering up something that shows once again just how exciting RAMZi’s sound is.

Panoptique is probably one the most prolific guy from the electronic punk scene in France, member of the collective Simple Music Experience, member of the formations Violent Quand On Aime, Les Simplists, Succhiamo or United Assholes with his old roomates Maxime and Yasade… Just to say he is a guy to follow, understand ! 
So we are very proud to present on the Seven Series two super tracks from him and United Assholes, two super cool songs in the Minimal-Wave/Synth-Pop punkish style which were originally released on cassette on Lost Dogs Entertainement in 2017. « Objectif Jeune » is a little ballade with dirty bassline, tiny riff, and melancolic voice. « Là, Les Chachats, Là, Les Chienchiens » is a sleezy hypnotic rhyme with dirty voice on repeat and crazy synth lines jam. 
For the artwork we digged into the arcade of the web to discover this special painting of the netherland realistic artist Jeanne Illenye who is specialised into painting animals and still lifes.

In collaboration for Dekmantel Festival 2018, The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision’s RE:VIVE initiative and Dekmantel teamed up for the second time to invite four local artists to breathe new life into 4 archival films from the Sound and Vision and EYE Filmmuseum archives. Jordan GCZ, Suzanne Kraft, Parrish Smith and upsammy were all assigned short animated films dating back to 1921. The films and their new scores debuted at EYE on August 2nd. Unsurprisingly, each artist imparted their unique styles onto the films that they previously had no relation with. From Suzanne Kraft's sparse atmospherics that have become more apparent in his new SK U KNO project to Jordan GCZ’s free flowing hardware jams. Parrish Smith showed his contemplative side and sparse orchestrations that he demonstrated on his RE:VIVE release, Genesis Black, a sonic departure from his bombastic releases and DJ-sets while upsammy showed yet again her deft hand for melody and texture, a style that dominates all her releases to date. 

These four scores can live apart from their films, fitting seamlessly into each artists' growing catalogs of work. But when combined, it’s as if the films and music were made simultaneously with the artist and filmmaker together in the same room. Dekmantel and RE:VIVE are proud to present these new works as the electronic music scene in The Netherlands continues to show its multifaceted talent that continues to expand far beyond the dance floor.

Recorded 10 years ago, and very much influenced by 'Clonezone' by 808 State. Done entirely on my 808 (the hook is played on the congas & overdriven so they become notes) & my 106 before it snuffed it. Recored much too hot to my crappy old Sherwood tape deck. Might be interesting to some!

Struggling with his personal life and unclear releationship with recently murdered young woman, he tirelessly chases the psychopathic killer.
Things are darker than they seem. Strange things soon begin to occur. He must decipher the reality from his delusions, phantoms and supernatural phenomenons.
Pieces of the puzzle indicate that the new violent crime is being planned. The race against time is on.
