"I recorded this mix on a cozy evening with my favourite bottle of red & some nice mood lighting after a lovely trip back from Vinly-Vanguard in east London. A record shop run by 2 jazz enthusiasts with a fine taste for wax. Funnily enough 90% of tracks in this mix I discovered there over the years. Founded by Playhouse masterminds Ata and the late Heiko M/S/O it was a Thursday club night that heavily featured house music as a prescription to the ongoing techno fever. Enamored with the US-American roots of it and all things deep, it not only presented the right records, but also their creators and protagonists.
