What started as GIMIC Radio – a platform dedicated to discovery and sonic experimentation – now takes a bold new step: the launch of GIMIC Records.
The label’s first statement comes in the form of an ambitious double-vinyl compilation, a sonic manifesto that defines the identity of GIMIC. Two sides, two energies:
Experimental & elektronica explorations: immersive textures, dense atmospheres, introspective soundscapes.

The compilation features around ten exclusive tracks by acclaimed and forward-thinking artists, including Hadone, Dangermami, NMSS, Trois-Quarts Taxi System, Zaatar, Canblaster, Darzack, and more. A selection that showcases both artistic credibility and a strong vision: plural, bold, and uncompromising.
With this release, GIMIC Records expands the voice of the radio, establishing itself as a forward-looking label – oscillating between introspection and euphoria, experimentation and collective energy.

A-Tweed is an Italian DJ and producer based in Rome. His contribution to Sketchy Lines Records brings a refreshing, contemporary abstract approach, blending electronic dub and minimalist influences. In this project, he redefines his production style by opening up more space for improvisation and giving the tracks a subtle half-step flow that lets the music breathe in freaky landscape somewhere in between krautock aesthetics and odd chiptune melodies.

We are delighted to welcome remixes from Tolouse Low Trax and Kamoun, opening doors to new sonic territories and carrying this release into fresh dimensions.

Hailing from the banlieue of Paris, currently based in the capital, Argo has spent more than a decade earning himself a reputation as one of the most recognisable 140 producers. 

He is now joining the label with a powerful and evocative 4-track project rooted in political tension and urgency.

Drawing on grime and dubstep foundations,
it embraces an intentionally underproduced aesthetic inspired by early scenes, fast-made, low-budget, and raw by design. The sound is saturated and abrasive, reflecting the violence and pressure of the contemporary moment.

United Identities continues its forward streak with a two-tracker that taps straight into the Dutch electro lineage. Lewski, supported early in his career by Ben UFO and DJ Stingray, channels his raw energy into two high-voltage cuts to light up late nights and festival stages. Opening track “Rotational Drift” swirls drippy synth arpeggios around bare-boned electro drums in Lewski’s mechanical style, topped with sharp, catchy vocal stabs. “NaddD” moves into murkier, more hypnotic territory, making a subtle shift toward depth and groove that hints at a new chapter in Lewski’s sound. This release captures a pivotal moment for Lewski: rebuilding his home studio sparked a new wave of inspiration, channelled here into an EP that playfully bridges his trademark mechanics with new creative ground.
