Originaria de la pequeña ciudad de Ganja, Azerbaiyán, el viaje musical de Tasha Safari se convirtió en una vibrante exploración de la cultura azerbaiyana. Al crecer en una nación reconocida por combinar influencias orientales y occidentales, se sumergió en un paisaje sonoro diverso, que iba desde la música tradicional azerbaiyana hasta los ecos del rock psicodélico y el post-punk, perfectamente entretejidos con los ritmos de los instrumentos populares y las emotivas melodías del mugham.

Envuelta por ritmos y sonidos rompedores desde temprana edad, Tasha Safari demostró una aptitud natural para la música. Su fascinación por los instrumentos electrónicos y una sed insaciable de ritmo y melodía la llevaron a experimentar con sintetizadores y cajas de ritmos.

Cuando lanzó su carrera como DJ, Tasha Safari inicialmente profundizó en el hip-hop, fusionándolo sin esfuerzo con la música electrónica. En su búsqueda de un sonido distintivo, experimentó continuamente con diferentes géneros musicales. Sus sets se caracterizan por ritmos hipnóticos y groovy, entrelazando de manera experta diversos subgéneros del techno, guiando al público a través de una exploración del paisaje sonoro electrónico.

A lo largo de los años, Tasha ha tocado en numerosos lugares de Europa y países de la CEI, colaborando con artistas de todo el mundo, enriqueciendo su paleta sonora. Una colaboración reciente a tener en cuenta es el próximo lanzamiento en 2024 de "Bel Fort & Tasha Safari: Disorder EP".

Originally from the small city of Ganja, Azerbaijan, Tasha Safari's musical journey embarked on a vibrant exploration of Azerbaijani culture. Growing up in a nation renowned for blending Eastern and Western influences, she immersed herself in a diverse soundscape, ranging from traditional Azerbaijani music to the echoes of psychedelic rock and post-punk, seamlessly woven into the rhythmic beats of folk instruments and the emotive melodies of mugham.

Enveloped by beats and groundbreaking sounds from an early age, Tasha Safari showcased a natural aptitude for music. Her fascination with electronic instruments and an insatiable thirst for rhythm and melody led her to experiment with synthesizers and drum machines.

As she launched her DJ career, Tasha Safari initially delved into hip-hop, effortlessly merging it with electronic music. In her pursuit of a distinctive sound, she continuously experimented with different music genres.

Her sets are characterized by hypnotic and groovy rhythms, expertly weaving together diverse subgenres of techno, guiding audiences through an exploration of the electronic sonic landscape.

Over the years, Tasha has graced numerous venues across Europe and CIS countries, collaborating with artists globally, enriching her sonic palette. A recent collaboration to watch out for is the upcoming 2024 release of "Bel Fort & Tasha Safari: Disorder EP.

New versions of Tensal’s ‘Opposite Inertia’ EP, with a remake of his own and contributions from Mike Parker and Pangaea. 

One the most distinctive artists in techno, Mike Parker, combines his signature, modulated bassline and sharp claps with the off-kilter rhythm of ‘Inertia 1’. Tensal’s remake of ‘Inertia 2’ is direct, peak-time gear. The synth line is kept front and centre, the beat is heavy and expertly arranged. Pangaea, of Hessle Audio, switches up the broken rhythm of ‘Inertia 3’ and adds the kind of unusual touches that make his records stand out.
