Let's head back to Fuse on January 4th for two hours of technical, percussive and ambient soul. Intertwining minimalist techno, UK-influenced bass, and polyrhythmic grooves, he kept the listener focused in dreamscapes as he reflected his influences from labels like Nous’klaer, Spazio Disponibile, and his distinct attention to unconventional time signatures or drum work. Throughout the years, Detroit-born Berlin-based groove operator and Tresor / Globus resident Eric Cloutier has been honing and refining his palette as both a producer and a DJ. Not one to engage in dogmatic restraint, Cloutier keeps developing his vision through carefully curated selections and an equally impeccable mixing technique. Boasting the variety and precision of his releases for his own imprint Palinoia, the present mix was recorded live at The Chinese Laundry in Sydney last year. Playing the main room open-to-close, Cloutier put together this mix as an evolving story and, much like the crowd of that night which proved highly receptive to the narrative, we hope this one will resonate with you. A most exquisitely complex and deep-diving plunge into Cloutier’s shape-shifting headspace, alternating heavyweight punch and dubbed-out minimalism with swashes of textured membranes and faux-organic, modular-like intricacies, this mix is as elusively impossible to pigeonhole as it proves sophisticated in its design.

Sure Thing Mix 144: Haruka

After visiting the lakeside dreamland last year I couldn't help myself but imagine on the moment what I would play if I had the opportunity to perform there myself (as any DJ would, I guess). I had different archetypes of sets forming in the back of my mind for different times of the day possible, if the opportunity ever came one day. 
So when I got invited to play the opening of Floresta on Sunday, it first came as a bit of a surprise, but the surprise turned into excitement and it was time to prepare a special set where I could dig into my dub techno collection. 
So, I am very happy to share with you the recording of my set, where I finally had the chance to play slow, deep, dubby and sunny techno in such a setting.

PREMIERE: MTD - Strike (Tool Mix) [R/EVA002]

Swedish dub-master ADILR is a Stockholm-based Techno producer whose sound lives in the space between atmospheric subtlety and hypnotic depth. His productions draw from the Scandinavian school of dub and deep techno, with a focus on evolving textures, airy pads, and understated yet persistent grooves.
Over the last few years, ADILR steadily refined his sonic signature, exploring long-form structures and sound design inspired by natural elements, especially wind and space. His style blends dub-infused rhythms with immersive ambient layers, always prioritizing gradual progression and sonic spaciousness.
ADILR has contributed to several respected underground imprints including Radiance and Point Nemo Records as well as a continuous flow of self-releases via his own Soundcloud channel. One of his productions is also found in our very first VA. We’re very happy to have him back on Fuxbau delivering an immersive full-length LP.
