Recorded during our first ever non-stop weekender; Marie Montexier her closing set at Lofi's Courtyard. A set that brought the momentums of the night, morning and midday all-together and resulted in a beautiful closing climax.

Marie: 'The last time, it was so exceptional that I really wanted to add something special to it. So, I ended up doing something groovier. Especially with the summer season starting, I wanted to ease/ massage people into the sound as we were at the end of this long and special Festimi weekend. ✨'

Warmduscher are fun - 100% unadulterated fun. The group are known for there no holds barred approach to the music 'industry' and don't take anything too damn seriously. Over the years they have released music on the likes of Leaf and Bella Union and have become best known for their blurred lines between post punk, funk, rap and the weirder bits which sit in between.

Fronted by Clams Baker they are supercharged by provocative vocals and a distinctive energy. It's a voice you might well have heard on Paranoid London records, which is a bloody great coincidence because in Warmduscher you will also find  Quinn Whalley who is also part of Paranoid London. Who knew?

Anyway, this mix wasn't recorded by either of them but by another member of Warmduscher known as Bleu Ottis who operates as the bands drummer.

The mix is unsurprisingly odd and playful. Spanning an absolute powerhouse of styles and genres. This one is all about the vibe, which we feel you might just enjoy.

Joe Delon is a DJ, label owner, radio host and writer based in Lisbon. His warm approach — connecting the fundamentals of disco, house, electro-funk and italo to dance music’s vivid present — has brought him to respected clubs like Panoramabar, Blitz, Closer and Savage, festivals including Dimensions, Horst, Lighthouse and Equation, and queer parties from Adonis to Honcho, Kiss Me Again, Los Ninos, Por Detroit and Pumping Velvet. Joe also runs a vinyl/digital label, Welt Discos, and writes a much-loved newsletter about his experiences as a DJ and listener.

Our second entry to the Faux Poly Mix series is L.A. based wizard Danny Goliger / @dannygoliger - celebrating the release of his latest EP 'Say I Do' which drops on the label in full on Nov 7th.

"I wanted this mix to showcase some of the musical influences in my new EP, “Say I Do.”  From wide, spacey psychedelic tracks, to earthy percussive UK-funky, bass-y techno rollers, and dubstep, I tried to include a variety of older and newer tracks that inspired this record.
