Jdotbalance (or just Jdot for short) is a chicanx producer hailing from Chicago by way of Texas. Their sound can be categorized as balancing left-field and breaksy with hooksy and sound-system-ready. They’ve also been featured on Lot Radio and are set to release their debut EP on @FixedRhythms July 29th, with a second vinyl release set for September on a mystery label (TBA)

Reylinn (they/she) is a DJ, visual artist, radio host and promoter from the Portland metro area, now based in Vancouver BC. They’ve been active in the pacific northwest DIY music scene since 2015, DJ’ing, VJ’ing, and working with various collectives - most notably Acceleration Radio since 2018. Through Acceleration Radio, Reylinn has worked alongside collective members to book 100+ artists across Canada, the US, and abroad for FM radio broadcasts, online live streams, and raves with the priority of platforming underrepresented artists. Reylinn’s DJ style is characterized by experimentation with a wide variety of sounds. She’s attracted to sounds ranging from techno, electro, and leftfield bass, to driving high bpm genres such as footwork, jungle and DnB, and sounds on the outer fringes - breakcore, gabber, and deconstructed club.

Notes on the Mix ///
"I focused on making a mix that just as much fits the context of an opening slot from 12-1am, as it does listening to a mix in headphones or a set of home speakers. If this were an opening set, it’d be geared towards the heads who arrive at the club early who are just as down with braindancing as they are wiggling on the floor with a lot of room. The energy rises with a dancefloor starting to fill out kept in mind."
