Flayed is the new track by audiovisual artist CSV, which contextually builds upon other genres from the UK underground such as 90s ambient jungle, 2-step garage and dubstep. CSV sonically achieves this by meshing together future garage rhythms with mutated vocals, retro melancholic pads and a deep reese bass. It evokes a nostalgic feeling of driving down a neon highway where eldritch horrors await you at the other side.

After a visit to Montreal, I was inspired by the famous Habitat 67 apartment complex. The contrast between its brutalist architecture and nature inspired the themes of this song. Recorded live at the Ableton Loop Sessions during @mutek_montreal festival. 🌱
