With over 400 letters, memos, cards, telegrams, drawings, notes and photographs, The Presidents’ Letters reveals a personal and unexpected story of Ireland since the inauguration of our first president, Douglas Hyde. Most of these have never been published before and a handful have never been seen by the public. Meticulously researched and handpicked for this unique book, these correspondences bring to life our presidents, Áras an Uachtaráin and all those who have passed through its doors.

A Day in the Life is a one-day conference presented by Children’s Books Ireland in partnership with dlr Libraries at dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire, to celebrate the ﬁnal appearance 
of Pictiúr, the exhibition of 21 contemporary Irish children’s illustrators that has toured both Europe and Ireland. 
Eoin Colfer is Ireland’s third Laureate na nÓg. Children’s Books Ireland’s mission is to make books a part of every child’s life, and this day of talks about all aspects of children’s books aims to excite, inspire and inform delegates about the ways in which we can all work towards making that mission a reality.
