Benefits of procrastination

French producer Teho makes a swift return to Herzblut to follow up his excellent Hope EP from May this year. His latest work sees him team up with fellow Frenchman and huge talent Tran, who's own music has been described as oscillating between minimal and melodic. Making this partnership a perfect fit. 

Their KOTO EP sees Teho & Tran submerging us in trademark emotional and powerful soundtracks, enhanced further by their use of the wonderful sounds of the Orient. Lead cut Asakusa elegantly displays its power through its pulsing one note bass and opening broken beat pattern. Its liquid flow sees it gather intensity before the Eastern strings echo in its breakdown. On the flip we are treated to more of the same, this time lead by Kabuki's beautiful flutes, warped bassline and plucked string melody. Perfection.

I'm glad I recorded it. During my performance I wasn't sure if everything was ok, but now I know, my headphones were obviously about to break. Something was weird with the sound on my headphones, that made me a bit insecure because everything sounded weird and I couldn't define what was wrong while I was playing. The truth is: not every set feels like: wow, my best set...sometimes it's the little things that can throw you off while playing, so I'm even happier that after listening to the recording I can say: it was pretty good after all 🙂

Es ist endlich soweit: Mein Fusion Set ist da! 🌈💫

Was für ein Auf und Ab. Während meines Sets kam es zu einem Stromausfall, mitten im Flow, mitten im Herzmoment. Die Aufnahme war erstmal weg, und mein Herz ist mir ehrlich gesagt kurz in die Hose gerutscht.
Umso glücklicher bin ich, dass das Set jetzt doch gerettet wurde und ich es endlich mit euch teilen darf.
Danke an alle, die mit mir getanzt, gelächelt und diesen besonderen Vibe möglich gemacht haben. Das Publikum, die Energie, die Magie – es war unvergesslich.
Ich gehe schon seit vielen Jahren als Raverin zur Fusion und durfte nun zum zweiten Mal selbst Teil des Line-ups sein. Auch dieses Mal hat mich diese liebevoll geschaffene Parallelwelt wieder tief berührt.
Danke Fusion und 3000Grad für euer Vertrauen.
Danke an PämPäm für diese krasse Bühne die ihr mal wieder gezaubert habt.

It’s finally here: my Fusion set has arrived! 🌈💫

What a rollercoaster it’s been. During my set, there was a power outage – right in the middle of the flow, right in the heart of the moment. The recording was gone at first, and honestly, my heart sank for a second.
That’s why I’m even happier now that the set has been recovered and I can finally share it with you.
Thank you to everyone who danced with me, smiled with me, and made this special vibe possible. The crowd, the energy, the magic – it was truly unforgettable.
I’ve been going to Fusion as a raver for many years, and now I’ve had the honor of being part of the lineup for the second time. Once again, this lovingly crafted parallel world touched me deeply.
Thank you Fusion and 3000Grad for your trust.
Thank you PämPäm for creating this incredible stage once again.
And a big thank you to everyone who shared this moment with me.

Was schon lange überfällig war, wurde endlich wahr: ein offizielles B2B im Stellwerk!
Zum 7-jährigen Jubiläum vom Kombinat Weichensteller haben https://soundcloud.com/benelink und ich uns erstmalig zusammen hinter die Decks gestellt und was soll man sagen: ein Heimspiel vom Feinsten! 🔥

Naja gut, so ganz das erste mal war's nicht. Ein paar Wochen zuvor nämlich fand spontan das wirklich erste B2B statt und wurde direkt zu einem legendären Acht-Stunden-Marathon, bei dem keiner mehr aufhören wollte...Da war schon klar, das muss wiederholt werden. Da gab's natürlich keine bessere Gelegenheit als zur Jahresfeier im Stelli an Halloween!
