All of us here at ADID have been super excited about this release for months. Not only does it contain the gorgeous original mix from Maher Daniel and John Charnis that has been melting ladies hearts all summer long but we also have quite a superb remix. Luca Bachetti's Endless label is one of our favorites here and it was only a matter of time until we knew we were going to (gently) prize something special from his musical soul. His remix has caused a little bit of a stir. We've been bombarded on a daily basis with requests for it. Well, for all you bombarders, it's finally here. Initially we only sent it out to a tiny handful of friends and family. Dixon and Ame both played it in Panorama bar on the same night, and it's been a staple track in Lee Burridge's sets all summer. It never sounded better than at Burning Man festival this year and those lucky enough to have been there will attest to the mystical journey it weaved as it meandered out of the Robot Heart bus's perfect sound system and across the playa. One of it's most memorable moments, so far, for sure. Now it's time for you to create your own magic with it. The hardest decision you'll have to make is deciding which mix to play. Atmospheric swells are pieced by gatling-gun snares; the tension builds but never releases, making this a surefire precursor to the bulk of heavyweight set climaxes you're likely to hear this summer. <p>Marino Canal returns to MOOD with a follow up to his 2014 ‘Percolate’ EP and his wonderful remix of label boss Nicole Moudber’s ‘Her Dub Material’, a mix that&#8217;s still doing the damage for so many. As he prepares for the summer’s season madness, Marino very kindly eases in with his trio of new tracks that see him take us on a quite unexpected but most welcomed tangent. <br />
 Continuing the deep and dubby flavour that Nicole left us with, Marino opens his latest EP with the title track, ‘Strain’. Belying its title, the opener shows no sign of taut, sinewy or stressed beats. Instead we are treated a warm, deep and hypnotising house cut. The mesmeric ‘Mercurial’ is up next with its contrasting warm piano chords and icy ivory melody, before Marino closes the EP with the dub daubed sound of &#8216;New Order’.</p>

Jamie Jones’ revered label Hot Creations is back with another hotly-anticipated EP. ‘Wobble Talk’ comes courtesy of Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato and features Sasha Brown.

‘Talk On’ featuring Sasha Brown displays Barato’s skill at building and releasing the pressure. Opening with rattling percussion and hi-hats, a rumbling bassline kicks in whilst the echoing, chopped-up samples of Sasha’s vocals are teased in and out. Two breakdowns build tensions until the full vocals become more evident and recognisable, the refrain of ‘Talk To Me Baby’ repeating until that rumbling bassline kicks back in.
‘Wobble Back’ is a more straightforward affair. A low-pitched ‘wobbling’ synth melody over the top of skipping hi-hats and a thumping bass forms the backbone of the track, whilst various samples and sounds echo in and out. A sparse breakdown towards the end of the track gives the track an extra punch when the bassline kicks back in.

Nathan’s profile has been rapidly rising of late, with previous releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved and Circus Records as well as house stalwarts Defected. His worldwide touring schedule has been gathering pace, not just across his native Canada and the US, but also in Ibiza – he played Paradise, Do Not Sleep and Music On this season – and major events and venues across Europe; ADE, We Are FSTVL and The Warehouse Project to name a few.

Time for a little neck bulging, slimy skin hip-slinking summer fun as a true craftsman steps from the studio shadows: Jay Shepheard, who’s back with a track that’s so infectious if you licked its back you’d trip for weeks.
Prepare yourselves for ‘Bullfrogging’: wry funk, warmth and humanised technoid soul. Taking a vocal texture then processing, harmonising and splicing the spawn out of it, Jay’s precision balance of electronic hustle and anthromorphised action has all the hallmarks for a summer anthem.
‘Early Doors’ follows suit and there’s a massive clue in the title… Soft-focused, warm, rolling and laced with textured chimes, it’s definitely tailored for those key transitions between warm-up and second gear. Deep, trippy but coded with a hookiness that grabs rather than soothes, once again it’s classic Shepheard but with a revitalised 2017 twist. Hey, he didn’t lock himself away in the studio for twelve months for nothing, right?
Neither did Jay’s long-time friend and neighbour Mark Henning; a man who hasn’t taken on a remix since the early 2010s. His return to the remix game is as poignant and powerful as Jay’s return to releases as he removes around 70 percent of the frog and maximises the bullishness of the elements, creating a relentless tribal slammer of a version that still retains the warmth and soul of Jay’s original.
Two returns to action, three killer tracks, one label you can always count on as your friend and no frogs harmed during the whole process. We’re pulling out some serious stops here.

Hannes Bieger (@hannesbieger) is perhaps better known for his immense and highly regarded back catalogue as a mixing and mastering engineer on other people's records, as well as various other ‘behind the scenes’ technical gifts. Born in Hamburg and now living in Berlin where he runs his own production studio, this EP gives his talents as a house music producer space to shine - and that's exactly what it does. 

'Strato' kicks off the EP - a 9 minute journey into exquisitely produced and highly effective dance music - an epic dancefloor killer that could draw comparisons with masters such as Ame in terms of impact.

Rhyolite' is another extended dive into the house music hinterlands - a deep groove that gives a home to some incredible sound design that builds and builds throughout the track.

Ruede Hagelstein (@ruede) drops by to add his distinct flavours to 'Strato' for the third track on the release - taking it into even deeper zone - a stripped down, minimal yet emotive workout for the late night crews.

The new Intec release is from Frank Mitchell aka Frankie Bones who is an American based DJ and producer whose played a large role in New Yorks Techno scene. Having been involved in music since the mid 80s, Frankie Bones was one of the first DJs from New Yorks Brooklyn region to gain global success. By the late 80s Frankie Bones was getting regular European bookings following the success of his Bonesbreaks EP series, which released on Underworld Records received global recognition and critical acclaim. During his three decade spanning career Frankie Bones has even released an EP on the iconic Trax Records, which released many of the early records that defined the House and Techno genre. One of his most popular releases was his 1989 release titled Call It Techno which originally came out on Breaking Bones Records, and a firm Carl Cox favourite has now been remastered and rereleased for this special Intec package, which also features one of his new and previously unreleased tracks. Also featuring on the release are two new remix versions provided by Carlo Lio and Raito who each put their individual stamp on things. Carlo Lio is an artist who in between global DJ bookings, has released music on labels including Octopus, SCI+TEC, Turbo, Mood, and Saved Records. French artist Raito is fast rising through the ranks following regular releases Boysnoize Records, along with having also featured on Mako, Origami Sound, Main Course and BNR TRAX. "Call It Techno" has a timeless bass line taken straight from the glory days of Acid House. Filled with retro charm and warehouse party vibes, the vocal tells the story of Technos history, and the pads plus melody are rich in analogue joy. Carlo Lio's remix of "Call It Techno" uses choice snippets of the originals vocal to refine the story it into a powerful chant. This remix is fast and furious with added tension and suspense. Carlo adds his own toughened backing track thats filled with dark atmosphere plus an explosive drop after the main break. Raito's remix of has a bumping groove and stomping kick drum. Thick and chunky, it takes no prisoners with its hard hitting percussion and stabbing sounds. Jacking in every sense of the word, it's summed up nicely by the vocal lyrics "hits you in the face like a hammer! Second of the two original track is "Light It Up" which takes its title from the lyrics of the vocal sample. With spin backs and filter sweeps, the tracks forward momentum is accentuated by a series of bass drops. Lead by the building intensity of a bubbling acid line, the tracks rolling groove is a sure fire party starter. The fifth and final track is a dub mix of Light it up, which with the main vocal removed, focuses on the music only.
