This song first took form when I was driving home from college, listening to Quasar, and found myself singing the piano melody to Traces ... it took me a minute to realize that I was singing the "wrong" melody, but then thought, "what if these two songs WERE combined together?"  When I went home and tried it, I was floored at how they synced up.

This is actually the third attempt I've made at creating this remix/mashup/cover/whateveryouwanttocallit.  The first two times were not (and will not be) released, as I was still trying to get my sound where I wanted it ... but this time I'm finally happy enough with the sound to put it out for everyone else to listen.

TaQ has long been one of my favorite artists in IIDX, and he's been an inspiration to me as a musician, especially after hearing Quasar, which even after all these years is my favorite song in IIDX.  This is dedicated to him.

The trilogy is complete.

For the finale to the Allegro series (Allegro Con Fuoco, Allegro PIÙ Mosso), I wanted to create a more aggressive track, incorporating some hardcore elements here and there that I had learned about while making Annihilator Method.  Plus, making the triplet ending to Allegro PIÙ Mosso was so much fun that I couldn't resist trying to make an entire song out of it!
