D*Minds are back with their latest instalment on our RUN In The Jungle project - the versatile, three track Everyday EP will have you testing the bass on your system on the daily. Released just before RUN All Day, this is the perfect soundtrack for a stacked day of junglist vibes for the RUN in the Jungle takeover in Motion’s Crane Yard.

Lead track ‘Everyday’ is a throwback to the sounds of the early 2000s. With its draw on the era’s upfront heavy-duty Drum & Bass sounds in conjunction with a huge splash of classic jungle influence and intricate present day production, this one is definitely . The striking vocal captures your attention before delivering a wall of bass twisted with euphoric up-front drums.

'Step Off' is a nod to the modern era of jungle that is devastating dancefloors. Littered with belting 808’s, blistering breaks and raspy Reese’s, if they weren’t enough warning to give the heads some space in the dance - the track’s vocal will give you a not-so gentle reminder.

'Listen Again’ has an old-skool / dread break aspect to its rolling drums and bassline throughout. Proving that minimalistic production can pack a huge impact, this one is simple but will be heavily effective in the dance.

And, with this compilation, he's offered us an insight into the kaleidoscope of styles and the surge of talent that his scene has to offer.

Of course, the Chronic and V faithful will have already been introduced to many of these artists. We're talking the likes of L-Side, Alibi, BTK, Critycal Dub and more; names we all recognise from the top end of the download charts and the set lists of the biggest deejays in the business. But then there are also those making their debut for the V family. Producers like Phizical and No Scandal, who are about to find a whole new, highly appreciative, audience.

With this strength in depth available to him in the community, DJ Andy's managed to draw together 20 tracks that reflect the full range of what this music has to offer. You'll hear influences from multiple genres, you'll hear the darkness and the light, the vibrancy and the viciousness. Firstly we welcome the prolific Zero T, who has crafted a bubbly, Bristol, bongo roller called 'On The M.I.C'.
Bad boy duo Genic have teamed up with man like Trakker to deliver one of the greatest of sauces: 'Sweet Chilli'.
Local Bristol talent Objectiv has been so busy making west country wobble that he may have been a bit distracted resulting in 'Burnt Toast'.
And finally, we welcome another one of our favourite Ukrainian producers, Dub Head, who has served up some absolute swag with 'Your Style'.

Sweet Misery

Following a strong run of singles since going solo again with his Level 2 alias, Pedro Lima returns to V on remix duties for L-Side & T.R.A.C. with his take on their 2016 cut 'Killer Transmissions'. 

First released as a double A-sided single by L-Side, this new mix takes the dark fluidity, brooding bassline, and rhythmic intricacies of the original and flips it for the dancefloors of 2023 in true rolling Level 2 style. Having already won support for his recent releases from the likes of Randall, Watch The Ride, Charlie Tee, Rene LaVice, Bryan Gee, DJ Marky and many more, Pedro is on a roll, and bringing that authentic V sound bang up to date for 2023 and beyond.

L-Side, is renowned for his unique blend of aggressive and funky minimal Drum and Bass, with his music already supported by DJs around the world such as DJ Marky, Bryan Gee, LTJ Bukem, Bailey, Doc Scott, among others. T.R.A.C., hailing from Brooklyn, NY, brings his versatile and engaging lyricism to the track. With a music career spanning different scenes, T.R.A.C. is as much a crowd-pleasing MC as he is a talented lyricist and musician, anmd he always brings something fresh to whatever projects he's involved with.

This remix release is a testament to V Recordings' commitment to delivering quality Drum & Bass music, and a taster of what Level 2 has in store!
