The hands of the blackbird clasp around the rope frozen by Volga's though mood. The boatman, tarnished by an hypothetical sun, seems to coincide with the interminable river. The wrinkling of his frozen fingers mixes up with Valdai’s hills outline.The slowly moves of the ship crew reflects a long lament toward the Caspian sea they will probably never reach. Zhuravel (@leonid-zhuravel) leads the boat of Feng Shit 23rd, on the banks of a river dreamscape infused by misty folk, ethereal ambient and erratic jazz.

This is my set at Camp Cosmic 2019,  8 o’ clock when the sun came up. 
I think it was one of my all time favourites — the energy of the audience dancing & smiling in front of me was super beautiful and what Camp Cosmic means to me… One love!

The set is re-recorded from my blurred memory and 45 minutes of my phone grabbing the sound — the recorder disappeared into the fog, such as the rest of the set… But I tried my best to puzzle together what i played.

Three sets in less than 24 hours, its good to have him back! Some of our favourite releases of the year came from Lovefingers' ESP Institute, including the Cos/Mes 12" series and the Concentration samplers. The label also connects many past and future Noise contributors - Michael Ozone, Abel, Bumrocks, Basso, Secret Circuit, Tako and Jonny Nash. Stefan Williamson Fa is an anthropologist and music producer from Gibraltar. His research and works focus on religion, music, and everyday forms of sonic expression in the Caucasus, Anatolia, and the Mediterranean. Stefan is a co-founder of Mountains of Tongues, a project which aims to promote musical diversity in the Caucasus.
