Fogh Depot is not just a collaboration between three musicians weaving a cozy melancholic cocoon in the midst of a looming, cold, unwelcoming metropolis of Moscow.  It’s a creativity lab where complex cryptoanarchic ideas rigidify in the viscously flowing Phrygian mode, while the simple and naive piano melodies sweep the listener right back to childhood.

Fogh Depot’s debut album contains eight stories told by different people in different places. "Anticyclone" feels like a massive hedge-maze amidst towering sand dunes of apathetic lust. "Mining" – is a slow descent into a narrow, murky mine, now and then suddenly illuminated by the guide’s flaring torch.  Does he even know where he’s leading his patrons? Sorrowful and strange, "Nevalyashka" is a nostalgic waltz, bringing to mind an old wooden attic where forgotten toys are gathering dust, while the clear and springy bass in "Sagittarius" can only be the belligerent footsteps of a mythical centaur. 

The simplest way to define Fogh Depot’s music would be to call it seductive brooding jazz with an electronic twist. Fogh Depot conjoin the unconjoinable, combining distorted low resolution samples with pure, atmospheric piano chords, multilayered drones with bebop changes, four-to-the-floor beat with polyrhythm, simple, easy-to-remember tunes with sophisticated effects for woodwinds, springy bass grooves with timeless ambient soundscapes. Live performance targeted at acoustic perception binds this technological hodgepodge together, giving every listener a chance to find the right texture for a rainy evening and a glass of good scotch.

Kitkaliitto come from Finland and are a really loose band in terms of membership - there can be one to five people in the studio just jamming together and what they usually generate is a music-driven stream of consciousness that also materialized through the years into these 6 exquisite tracks on their Pleasure Disorder EP.

They use analog and digital synths, guitar, bass, flute and sometimes have guest vocalists. Even though everything happens impromptu, there's more to these jam session than words could describe, hence the results are nothing short of amazing. They've been together, on and off, as Kitkaliitto for 10 years and their taste-range has led them in and out of electronic music, yet these tracks sound as timeless as music ever gets, six downtempo compositions that ooze the playful intimacy that can only be attributed to the decade of crafting a strong, remarkable sonic personality.

After hearing them on Natura Sonoris 4 years ago we connected through Borealis' "Voidness" where they were featured as remixers. We are proud to provide the platform for their sophomore release, 6 years after their debut on Kann Records and we are already excited about the Reverend Slim remixes EP that will follow later in the year.

‘Beneath’ was arguably the pick of Fraems debut EP released on Lost Tribe Records in 2016 with its brooding bass and driving beats perfectly accompanied by a video of various landscape flyovers. This rework sees Ambassadeurs deliver a mix that pays the upmost respect to the original whilst also showcasing his shimmering and crisp signature production style.

The title track of the EP “On God” clearly illustrates MineSweepa’s personal touch to his musical craftings; trap-induced beats spliced together with screechy basslines feed into a dub heavy second drop keeping listeners on the tips of their toes. The next track “Portland” is a sure fire festival doomsday device, with energy levels sky rocketing into high gear with astral dives and drops of high-pitched chords. Finishing off with “Glass,” MineSweepa utilizes realistic samples of glass bottles clanking and breaking about, ultimately symbolic of the sound design behind the track where he organizes the disarrayed pieces into a beautiful creation.

MineSweepa, at only 23 years of age, is here to change the music scene as we know it. The quirky California native and current Oregonian has always been a trendsetter who plans to keep his experimental mindset in overdrive. Sweepa continues to innovate and challenge a variety of genres. Maker of the dopest tracks, Glasgow's Fear-E is a definite fav around here. Ever since i got sent a batch of his new tracks i pretty much did not stop playing them, as they're all really inventive and effective all at once, with menacing melodies and twisted textures. We have a running joke that people only film me playing when one of his tracks is on! but the reality is i only play his music, nothing else muahahahaha
part of the dixon avenue basement jams crew, this bb is also a very good dj who hops between the best stuff in any dance genre with ease and intent, but for this mix we asked him for a very specific thing, an intense electro mix - after hearing through the grapevine that he'd like to do make people robot-dance to the sounds of fast electro music more often. and, tbh, listen to this naivetape and hear for yourself how prepared he is to legit electrify dancefloors no pun intended. also he's such a sound, lovely person and that's... the best. 
ps - we asked him and he does not Fear E btw, he thinks it's actually a gr8 time but these days he avoids it. so yeah, just to clear the air.
