Hello everyone, I would like to show you my new album "Pereehali". This is my third album, it was written and recorded in the summer of 2012. After a long writer's block that was caused by a very pretentious and bombastic second album I decided to make a really intimate, solo-piano work. I lived in the countryside during the recording sessions, and every recording was done by me tête-à-tête with my lovely piano in the wooden house. It was a priceless experience working and writing while having a close contact with nature, it helped me a lot to understand the music I compose, to make it more organic, touching and moving.

Black Vines:

Birthed between the burning fields of Kansas and the surreal landscape of the New Mexican desert, Black Vines is a dense layering of monophonic drones, delayed sitar and large scale cello arrangements.

Combining the distorted and blackened influence of Aaron Martin’s recent solo and collaborative work with Joseph Angelo’s love of ragas, industrial noise and meditative minimalism, the eight elegiac strands of Black Vines are tribute to redemptive growth that occurs in the shadows.

Mastered by James Plotkin, featuring tracks reworked from the original parts by Dag Rosenqvist with stunning artwork by Chris Koelle.

Packaging includes letter-pressed covers, glass mastered CD, 10 x limited edition prints on heavy card stock with glassine bags, all resting inside hand numbered, scented black envelopes. Limited edition of 200 copies!

An instrumental odyssey through the infinite. *The Endless Symphony* translates the mathematical beauty of π into music — patterns without repetition, harmony without end. Each movement explores a facet of infinity: creation, balance, entropy, and return. Through orchestral textures, ambient electronics, and minimalist design, Avaline Ingels constructs a sonic architecture that feels both divine and human — precision guided by emotion.  
Piano, harp, and strings trace circular motifs while choirs breathe in golden ratios. Tempos shift by Fibonacci values, phrases extend by digits of π, and melodies evolve like galaxies forming. The album’s structure loops perfectly: the finale’s final drone blends into the prelude’s first chord, forming a seamless circle of sound.  
*The Endless Symphony* is not a story but a mirror of eternity — a composition that, like π itself, continues forever, revealing meaning only through motion.

The Last Door (For Piano Day)

Compiling four pieces for four different ensembles, David Lang’s "writing on water" is a free-flowing recording that presents several unusual and rarely revealed facets of the composer who is perhaps most well-known for his monumental choral works (the Pulitzer-winning "the little match girl passion" and the more recent epic "the national anthems"), as well as his poignant song cycles ("death speaks" and "love fail"). 

From the struggle between dissonance and melody portrayed in “pierced” to the sweeping, oceanic scope of the title piece, the music defines a path that can be as serpentine as it is rigid (“forced march”) or as minimal as it is immense. Riveting performances by Alarm Will Sound, Real Quiet, Crash Ensemble, the London Sinfonietta, Synergy Vocals and more make writing on water an electrifying, free-spirited and rambunctious addition to the Cantaloupe catalog.

The Topologies of Blue

Bill Seaman - Isolated Reflections / Dark Slippages / Falling Inward / A Collection Of Repercussions

The title DeeDee is a clue to the approach behind it’s creation and the whole track is a larger hint for what’s in store on the EP. D and E are the pitches around which the track is built, but these notes are also taken from an earlier release and this is the theme of the track and the EP. It is all made from bits and pieces of Leah’s previous releases that have been reconstituted and repurposed to create new music (A copyright lawyers nightmare). The single also has birds as a theme at it’s heart which is evident from the video for DeeDee which breaks up flocks and murmurations of birds into patterns which mesmerise and at times resemble Rorschach tests.

DeeDee is out on 11th Feb with the full EP 'Bird Rib' out on 19th March.
