The Epic of Gilgamesh is an epic poem from ancient Mesopotamia, regarded as the earliest surviving notable literature and the second oldest religious text, after the Pyramid Texts. The literary history of Gilgamesh begins with five Sumerian poems about Bilgamesh (Sumerian for "Gilgamesh"), king of Uruk, dating from the Third Dynasty of Ur (c. 2100 BCE). 

Morttagua inspires himself in the adventures and struggles from this historic Sumerian tablets to produce a progressive masterpiece.  ‘Epic of Gilgamesh” contains all the right elements to become an instant classic with its beautiful melodic riff, hypnotic groove, lush pads and enchanting ethnical vocals.

What a massive two track release from label owners Glenn Morrison & Brian Cid. Hypnotic atmospheric underground house music is the name of the game here and just in time for the Miami Music Conference 2015. 'The Flute' has an extremely hypnotic flute riff; very free spirited and modal which carry beautifully with the hypnotic groove underneath. 'Tulum' is fitting with the Middle Eastern motif with desert grooves, shimmering melodies, and enchanted arpeggiations. This is an expertly crafted EP from two musicians who have been around the block for a long time.
