I was glad that I put together music in the set that I first heard in Peru - icoros, the set starts with them, after the sound of the jungle
In the set, technically I wanted to play the sound of the jungle running through the set with alternating songs of shamans, as I had in my experience at Ayahuasca ceremonies
Night, sounds of the Jungle, one song, jungle, second song - and I’m lost somewhere
I chose the rest of the music for the set to be as close to a heavenly experience as I can interpret it
For example, how you see a girl at a corner table, and she looks at you too and you smile at each other
I started writing a mix when none of my friends had come yet, only Nastya was in the room - we organized an apartment together, she was sitting on the floor and swaying
Gradually 3 of my friends come in - we didn’t even say hello, for some reason
They looked at each other and they sat down on the floor, someone danced a little, Emil began filming the set on his iPhone
And if the word in your head is wow
If the feeling is gratitude
I was sitting at the controller, mixing music, and was a little worried
I was pierced
Joy.


Сет я записывала в Тбилиси, в квартире, решила сделать квартирник и пригласила своих знакомых 
Я была рада, что собрала музыку в сет, которую впервые услышала в Перу- икоросы, с них начинается сет, после звука джунглей 
В сете технически я хотела играть звук джунглей проходящий через сет с чередующимися  песнями шаманов, как было у меня в опыте на церемониях Аяуаски
Ночь, звуки Джунглей, одна песня, джунгли, вторая песня- и я куда то  провалена
Выбрала остальную музыку для сета максимально похожее на райское переживание, как я его могу интерпретировать 
Например, как видишь девушку у углового столика, а она смотрит на тебя тоже и вы улыбнулись друг другу
Начала писать микс, когда никто из знакомых ещё не пришёл, была в комнате только Настя- мы вместе организовали квартирник, она сидела на полу и покачивалась 
Постепенно заходят 3 моих приятеля- мы даже не поздоровались, почему то
Посмотрели друг на друга и они сели на пол, кто то немного пританцовывал, Эмиль начал снимать сет на айфон 
И если слово в голове- это вау 
Если чувство- благодарности 
Я сидела за контроллером, сводила музыку, немного волновалась 
Меня пронизывала  
Радость.

Inspired by some of the Ancient Earth Wizards, the Zoroastrian Magi. A mystery sealed in the origins of the word "magic" and the connections with the ancient Magyar Tribe that came to settle in Hungary, where it is also the sacred site of the Earth Heart Chakra according to Tibetan Buddhism...
This sonic journey was presented in the Day Out of Time at the Moon Temple stage, and also at the after party, of the Solar.United.Natives Festival 2015 in Hungary.

This is my first instrumental EP, contain two tracks of electronic/world musics, and two tracks of Lo-Fi/Ambient musics. Released during the strangest time in our world today.

Strangest Time

From French father and Minahasan mother, Onyx Tikal was born and raised in capital city of Jakarta. An adept of spiritual food, soulful connections Onyx is deeply moved by ancestral, folk and ceremonial entrancing music. She finds that the right music can be great medicine for the soul. With a multi cultural upbringing, Onyx DMT has developed an ear, and from a rich repertoire of world music spanning from India, the Middle East and South East Asia - she has cultivated listening, to remember sounds, scales or harmonies and sing the song lines of emotion. Continuously nourished by the music of the peoples of Mongolia, Persia, Afrika, and by rare and strange sonic signatures coming from very remote parts of the world, Onyx continues to explore with percussive instruments, mouth harps to name a few. Intuitive singing and drumming are her mediums to practice devotion to the Self, the Other and The One.  

Through inspirational philosophies found in Sufism, Buddhism, and Animism, Tikal feels into the space and energies around intentionally. In "Sabda", now called L.I.V.E. in Prayer circles she invites us to offer our gifts in collaborative sound creation through the medium of our vocal chords and our heart where songlines are channeled in alignment with where the body sits like an anchor, we open the instrument to make an offering with only what we have in infinity, our spirit or consciousness - to remember our "power" and to gift in elation to Source, to Creation - residing in each of us. Let us celebrate raw beauty in WHAT IS by purely experiencing life moment to moment.

Outside of Sabda meditations or LIVE circles, with immense pleasure in working alongside Travis Jekks on the Tar - another string player and soul brother, and Duke Autret, guitarist and intuitive player, Tikal will sing to the deep sorrows, to the heart aches and the profound joys. She will open aspects of the heart to guide into an elating musical journey that inspires and allows for one to face emotions as they come, as they are. In honoring them, Tikal feels it is a way of flowing with grace, of relating to oneself, of riding the wave of personal acceptance.
 
Tikal gives weekly intuitive singing circles now called Liberate Intuitive Voice Expression, and events once a month called L.I.V.E. in Prayer & Meditation.
Events of sound meditations are also not to be missed. She finds them to be excellent ways for exploring the aspects of the constantly manifested self, the vastness of the mind, the profound intelligence of the body and the driving mysteries of the soul. 
The intutive singing circles are more for inspiring RADICAL CHANGE, to support great inner transformation, and she finds this "medium" being one of her favourite ways of cultivating our inner power.
