I still envision a video for this tune of crabs crawling on the beach, over the rocks and under the ocean. It might get done one day.

Writing this tune actually, I had no title and when finished I thought it sounded like crabs walking about. What else could it be? It’s an odd playful tune. Hope you like it.

Eat your sugar-laden cereal and get your GO Power! A humourous silly tune using quotes from old radio food ads. 

A heavy electro drum beat, synth voices and a tempo change move this novelty number along. Guitar riffs and embellishments were added to finish it. Enjoy this super sweet, treat.

Sugar GO Power

A Techno - Metal mashup instrumental with a driving, uplifting electronic beat. Sounds and rhythms that can conjure up images of victorious cyborg armies marching on or your just own daily victories overcoming life’s challenges. It’s heavy, complex and over in no time.

I was delighted when my nephew  Zach Roitner took up the challenge. He guests playing a mean guitar that I mixed in with my original tune.

A busy electro funk mix of beats and samples that moves along and morphs into new directions.

I started off with rave drum beats. On top of this, I arranged beats and notes to rhythmically interplay with modified vocal phases and guitar power chord jabs.

It Drives Itself

How to bake a musical cake in 5 parts. This is a narration of a cooking recipe with the words altered to bake an audio cake into a little tune at the end. 

Lite and airy with just the right amount of sweet melodic lines and cake layer parts. An aural treat to eat with no calories or aftertaste (bad notes lol).

Raspberry Pink Velvet Cake

I was fascinated with German phonetics, the character of the syllables. Though I have an Austrian background, I understand little of it. I would think the repetitive gibberish means nothing. (No intent to insult) It just sounds interesting to the ear as voice bits.

It seemed to fit my mechanized machinery track full of quirky sound effect noises. A little busy for a Kraftwerk type tune, but my influence is there. In the end, all machines break, they become kaputt.

Ramp It Up is an electronic instrumental piece that picks up speed and tempo. Just like busy days we get in life. The ups and downs of zipping around going places and getting things done. Your day may start off slow but in no time it gets overloaded and hectic.

A rather complex busy tune that has many changes. It should keep you listening and get you pumped up to take on those house chores, office reports or climb a mountain. Your escalator is going up.

Ramp It Up

My version of a Christmas tune, every composer has to do one. lol A bit of Electropop with some orchestration. I kept it light and short as a festive feel good vibe. I used new Horn samples that sound great and some vocal stretching for effect.

Simple lyrics and message with a happy crescendo. French and German text-to-voice were used as you do not want to hear me sing. But if you do sing, and want to do your own version, I can share the bed track.

Festive Lights

This tune is based on 90% random generated notes and text. It was up to me to sort out what parts generated I could use. Believe me a lot of random note passages did sound awful. The best was arranged into a listenable piece.

I asked Microsoft Co-pilot "you know your life is just a dream?" And this is what the AI computer bot said. Artwork was done by AI too.

An AI Dream

The musical concept for this tune was to generate notes from my name - Daniel Frank Roitner. Music notes A to G were matched up on a grid with letters of the alphabet.

Each part of my name starts with the notes as a melody. Then I took the notes and used them as chord passages while I narrated. Luckily I was able to work with these notes and compose music that did not sound too odd.
