Being a production line of carefully crafted composition with a meticulous production standard, Calyx & Teebee have delivered yet again. And after dominating the Beatport Top 100 with their most recent single ‘A Day That Never Comes / Snakes & Ladders’, they won’t be applying the brakes anytime soon, especially in the lead up to their greatly anticipated second album on the Ram imprint.

Back on vocal duties, Calyx demonstrates the pair’s multi-dimensional approach to beat making. With plucky percussion relaying you through bouncing subs and a drivingly solid bassline, it defines their vast repertoire of style. They’re not scared to dip into unfamiliar territories, with Calyx’s cool vocals sitting on top of lulling guitar rhythms to provide the first part of a diverse and brilliantly crafted record. 

With an album laying just out of reach, each single is bringing us closer and closer to the inevitable. All four tracks prove their still a formidable force to be reckoned with; this LP will only emphasise that fact. 

Long Gone

A high-energy Drum and Bass track that balances raw intensity with smooth rhythm. The drums hit hard with crisp breakbeats and deep sub-basslines, driving the momentum forward. The sound design leans aggressively — sharp reese bass growls, distorted synth stabs, and punchy kicks — but it’s controlled and polished, avoiding chaos.

Over the top, atmospheric pads and vocal elements add emotion and texture — either chopped female vocals or haunting spoken lines that weave through the mix. The vocals soften the edge, bringing a human touch to the mechanical energy.

The overall vibe is powerful, dark, and dynamic, perfect for late-night sets or cinematic chase sequences — energetic enough to move a crowd, but with a melodic core that keeps it musical rather than purely brutal.

Electric Storm

The two brains behind the ‘Mindfold’ project meet again to present their latest tune ‘Wet Devices’ taking their sound in a new direction, whilst keeping true to their complex style and originality.
Toning down the BPM ever so slightly has allowed for a more spacious and hench mix, gliding the listener on a journey through the star clusters and beyond.
Suited for the dusk or late morning setting, ‘Wet Devices’ is a sure and steadfast weapon for any DJ’s arsenal and assured to be making the rounds on many dancefloors for the upcoming festival season.
