Badmandicoot has become a veteran of the Northern sound system culture, playing at a variety of events with Cranked Sound system over the past 10 years.  Parallel is a track that takes away from the typical 2 and 4 dnb snare pattern. It is inspired by the harder more syncopated breaks from tracks badmandicoot loves such as Glock party by Evol Intent or intelligent suicide by bur oak, including a more industrial dystopian sound that made Badmandicoot fall in love with dark dnb in the first place. Over all i really enjoyed making the big delayed stabs and working with the noise sub to make all the pitch bendy wobbly sub shenanigans in phase 2 of the drop and hope you guys enjoy the moody stomping vibes on the track. Much love.

Badmandicoot - Parallel

Here's a recording of Samwise's mash up set at our day rave at the beginning of May. This was the penultimate set of the day and was sandwiched inbetween 2 great hardcore jungle sets from Mousai and the headliners Eminence and T-Break. Please mind a blip in the recording around 21 minutes when Drum People by Secret Hero & Acid Steve is playing. 

We donated £147.46 to Heal Rewilding so thanks to everyone who came down it was a havin it day and the system was pumping.

About 5 months ago my brother and I were on a long drive and the original “Start again” by Kidnap came on and we started singing it together, I remember when the song ended thinking to myself that Id like to try and remix the song into a drum and bass track. I wanted to remix this song because this was a core memory of something my brother and I have always done together, growing up there has been tones of songs that my parents have shown us over the years that have lead to lyric engraving for my brother and I to sing together but for this one it was something more then just another song. I don’t know why specifically, maybe because of how sunny it was that day or because of where we were going or maybe just because we were both so happy during that moment and nothing else mattered. I beyond stoked to finally have this one out for you to listen to and eventually sing along with me and my brother.
