Here we present our eighth reference by the talented Romanian artist Heatwave. With some releases on such important labels as Onset Audio or AGN7 Audio, he comes to Syhda Music to present his work "Orphan", a 4 Track EP that moves between Halftime/Jungle where he shows off his evolution as a producer and where he works perfectly elegant drums with sophisticated melodies that take us to deep and enigmatic landscapes. Within "Orphan" we find a collaboration with the Japanese YHVHSQUAD and a remix in the pure amen breaks style by the German No_Name that closes and completes this incredible EP. Very excited to have Heatwave on board with us, we hope you enjoy his work too!!!

The first Nocturnal Wonderland took place 19 years ago on February 11. Insomniac Event's second big production, following the success of its one-year anniversary party the year before, was an exciting event. Mojo, one of the early Insomniac residents, provides a throwback vinyl mix to give a taste of the sounds one would have heard that evening. DIS_1 has been spinning since 2000 but finally left the bedroom and hit the stage in 2011 out in Steamboat and made his way down to Denver via the E-Tuesday Battles. He plays a variety of genres but his main focus halftime, jungle, hip-hop & dubstep. Representing the ABM (Always Be Mixing) DJ crew. He was brought onto Recon as a resident in 2019 and as a Sub.mission resident in 2022 and he is the only dual Sub.Recon resident in Denver.

One fine day in the middle of May, MTG Primate Crooked Sounds was chilling with a banana, listening to the sounds of the Jungle when the idea hit him! The MTG needs to branch out into some Drum n Bass!! He gobbled the rest of his 'naana, busted out some kick ass dnb, threw it at Bulla's feet and said, "have a go at this!!" Bulla took up the challenge and brought some dirty, low slung vibes to the mix then threw it over to Linda B who chucked in some cheeky dirty sounds. Professor Prim8 heard the call and finished it off with some typical nastiness and thus the mix was born. MTGnB are proud to present our first DnB mix, Drum 'N' Apes! Enjoy!
