Jen Symmetry has loved and played drum and bass since the early 2000’s at clubs, parties, and festivals, offering direct support for international acts including Dieselboy, DJ Hype, J Majik, Hive, Reid Speed, John B, Spor and others as a member of DC and Bassheadz Productions out of Minneapolis. Past residencies include Infused at First Ave, 9th Circle at Club Underground, and Revolutions radio 89.3 FM in Boston. She’s brought her energetic track selection and precise mixing skills across the US, including Chicago, San Diego, Miami (WMC World of Drum and Bass 2004 and NYC. She currently collaborates with Proper Chicago and Mechanix Minneapolis, as well as hosts the popular Twitch channel SLPDNB. In 2021 she also earned the title of 916Junglist/Dystopia DJ Battle champion, and has recently reignited her love of music production. Regardless of your taste in music, Jen’s style and passion will have you busting a move on the dancefloor. Here is our next instalment of our Women In DnB Mix Series. We are very pleased to present to you VOXI

VOXI is a DJ from the Netherlands that we met at Hospitality On The Beach in Croatia, where she impressed us with her skills behind the decks    

VOXI is a fast rising DJ in the drum and bass scene in The Netherlands. Her track selection can best be described as minimal, techy, dark, rollers with a hint of jungle.

VOXI's musical exploration was sparked when she heard Kasra perform at Let It Roll, an event that introduced her to minimal drum & bass. This newfound fascination led her to labels like Critical Music, V Recordings, Overview.

Since 2022 VOXI has already played at iconic events, including Liquicity Festival, Blackout, Rolling in the Deep, Liquicity Family, Cheeky Monday and even internationally at Intrigue Live in Bristol. She shared stages with Andy C, Black Sun Empire, Nymfo, Technimatic, Serum and performed at club nights, daytime festivals and livestreams.

VOXI co-founded FLUX/X, the Dutch female DJ collective that’s aiming to encourage inclusivity within the drum & bass scene. Together they organized successful editions of their own event called IMPAKT in Leiden. They also host a livestream show in collaboration with Drumandbass.nl called MIX/XED by FLUX/X where they interview DJ/producer guests and play b2b sets.

VOXI has been collaborating with DJ/producers like Hidden Circuit, Arcturius, and Rayven Lux and is currently taking the first steps into the world of production.

Bo.Bella, hailing from Mulubinba (Newcastle, Australia), embarked on her musical journey in 2019 after years of tending bar in the vibrant club scene. Her exposure to exceptional music every weekend proved instrumental in shaping her unique sound.

Renowned as the Queen of all things house, Bo.Bella has taken a dive deep into the drum and bass scene, infusing her sets with a blend of dark and light tracks that add a spicy allure. Her musical prowess extends beyond the DJ booth; she is best known for fostering emerging talents through her weekly Open Decks at The Lass O'Gowrie Hotel in Mulubinba. She also helped pioneer the all-female DJ collective, Powder Your Nose, formed one half of the Mulubinba duo, Someone's Friends and heralds Barefoot Beats.

Bo.Bella has held the position of resident DJ at Finnegan's Hotel in Mulubinba since 2019, consistently delivering electrifying performances. Her name has become synonymous with the local music scene, gracing line-ups for events like Cooked Memories, Shenanigans, Rhythm At Dusk, Cruiser Nightclub, Chance Saturday's and major Australian festivals such as Groovin the Moo and This That. She's also played on support of Tigerlily, JPEG and Tay-G.

In December 2021, she showcased her skills on Bondi Beach Radio, engaging in a B2B set with Chevron. Catch her on the weekends at Finnegens Hotel where she’s been a resident dj since 2019 and continues to leave her mark on the Mulubinba music landscape.
