Danger features one of the scenes most interesting MC’s GEAR, Hailing from Houston Texas but grown on D&B, Grime & UK Hip Hop he infuses UK with his Southern roots to bring something new to the world of MC led Bass Music. The track also features //DarkMode head honcho & Foreign Beggars frontman PAV4N.

Droid kicks off kilter abstract sci-fi sound that sounds more like a technical glitch that loops and evolves into the lead line of the song… by the time the drop comes around the listener is fully in the groove and hit with pur power on the drop that rolls, evolves and continues to pump throughout the track.

Rain Fire, takes the entire EP Up a level with it’s nasty synthwork, unrelenting hard-stepping drums and driving bassline. The kind of track on plays to prolong the climax of a set. Instant wheel, any soundsystem, any party, and show.

About Gear
Bursting out of Dallas, Texas, GEAR is a multi-talented artist who creates rap inspired by a smorgasbord of electronic genres. Throughout his younger years, GEAR discovered a large realm of styles in deep corners of the internet. They included grime, industrial, dubstep, drum & bass, and more. His sound is the pounding product of these influences. In addition to what he gained through an immersion in Southern rap, he also draws inspiration from
countries across the globe, making for an incredibly left-field and unprecedented combination.

Jack Mirror is a staple within the Viper Recordings camp, a producer and DJ who’s gone from newcomer to mainstay member following a string of high profile releases which have seen support amongst tastemakers such as UKF and BBC Radio 1. And now collaborating with Kove, an artist who’s paved himself a place within the annals of drum & bass. The producers combine two heavyweight production styles for a release under the Viper Recordings banner.

Kove is a familiar face on Viper and his return is marked by Jack Mirror, with the sonics of both combining for forthcoming single ‘Placebo’. An intro pulsating with thick subs, climbing step by step into a foreboding first breakdown and flipping kick drum sequences, the record drops into subterranean levels. Kove and Jack Mirror go for the jugular with this release, never allowing you up for air as you’re kept down in the deep reverberating bass of ‘Placebo’. Sometimes known for their more euphoric tracks, this upcoming cut offers the flip side of the pair’s darker production standard.

Viper Recordings add a moodier delivery for the lighter months but it’s the perfect accompaniment for late into a summer night in the dance. Jack Mirror and Kove are taking the lead with this, with ‘Placebo’ proving to be an exciting comeback for each producer.
