Discovering @adelia_adelia a few years ago was pretty mind-blowing to us. How have we missed this distinctive Czech dj listed as one of 55 female artists involved in the hypnotic techno scene by @mnmt.no ? Perhaps it's because it's been three years since Adelia moved from Prague to Barcelona to follow techno producer Massa, her soulmate, both in music and life. Since then, she has been pursuing her career from Spain, creating music for renowned podcasts such as Oslated,  Bahn, Prior Act, Further Sessions, and many more. Most recently, she also did an exclusive mix for our friends from Base Collective.

Adelia is also getting involved in event production. In 2022 she’s been in charge of booking of the premiere edition of Barcelona's Mostra festival. It's been a success and something to keep your eye on for the next spring! To catch Adelia herself, you don't have to wait till the next year as she will be in Prague in December. We will make sure that you can enjoy her sounds to the fullest.

The 12th Weltraum podcast episode that Adelia mixed for us is deep, hypnotic, melodic, with a sprinkle of nostalgia – and perhaps in a bit darker shade than her usual mixes.

Ancestral Landscapes is the artistic project of   
Salvo pizzuto from Messina, Sicily, who has made hypnotic and dark music his signature style. After gaining experience with his previous project, SAAM, Ancestral Landscapes has established himself as a prominent figure in the Italian electronic scene, creating immersive and intense atmospheres where enveloping synths, pads, drones, and intricate textures come together to transport the listener on a unique sonic journey.
His sound is characterized by the ability to blend deep and dark elements with dancefloor energy, thanks to powerful and experimental kicks that maintain high emotional tension in his sets. Ancestral Landscapes aims to hypnotize and captivate, creating a musical experience that goes beyond mere listening.

Aksamit is a music producer, promoter, sound enthusiast and DJ with nine years of experience in the
electronic music scene. Her sets are a carefully curated blend of deep, hypnotic sounds balancing on
the edge of techno, ambient and experimental music, evolving with the sense of the moment. Known
for her narrative and emotional depth, Aksamit creates a space where music becomes an experience
for both body and mind.

She has performed at some of the most important festivals in Poland, such as Up To Date, LAS,
Audioriver, Opener, Wisłoujście, Instytut, and Summer Contrast, as well as numerous international
gigs in countries like Japan, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Iceland, Thailand, France, the UK, Denmark
and Andorra. Aksamit regularly plays at Berlin’s Tresor, which continues to influence her musically
and in her approach to community building.

As a promoter, Aksamit is committed to fostering a community around high-quality electronic music.
She is the founder of projects such as Velvet Vortex, which merges music with visual art, and Velvet
Space – a platform dedicated to electronic music culture, education and knowledge exchange.

This time our guest on CBDSH series is Viels from Italy with a fabulous outer space mix! Known for his superb productions on established techno labels and music selections as a DJ, this mix a showcase in deepness that fits the ethos of DSH like a glove. Drop everything else for the next 69 minutes and enjoy the ride.

Bio:
Class 1990, Viels was born in a little city outside Milan (Italy). Early in his adolescence he discovered techno culture inspired by a book called “TECHNO“ by Christian Zingales. Having released his first Ep on Initial Berlin in 2015, Viels continued his musical path appearing with a track on the well respected dutch imprint Dynamic Reflection, followed by his debut ep “Distrophism” and contributing for the 10 years anniversary of the label, among some of the most recognised artists in the scene : Donato Dozzy, Mike Parker, Shifted, Oscar Mulero, Blawan, Ness, Jeroen Search and many more.
Co-owner with Francesco della Sala of “End Of Perception”, Viels just released also on label such Warm Up, Non Series, Mord, and Semantica Records.
At the moment he is resident of the Acquario party in Milano and an active part of the organization of it.
With an increasing interest and having performed in quality clubs like Tresor, Perron, Cassette, Schron and shared the booth with the likes of Oscar Mulero, Svreca and Dasha Rush to name a few, Viels is establishing himself as part of a new wave of djs and producers approaching the contemporary techno scene.

Hydrangea is a new French electronic producer, doing techno music deeply inspired by nature and its surroundings. She began producing music in early 2014, influenced mainly by the deep and hypnotic Italian techno.

So far, the Annulled Music Imprint has released Hydrangea's debut album, called 'Dawn Lights', a sensorial trip that captures each of your senses. She also released an EP on Two&Two Records and tracks on VA compilations, such as The Wandering II Compilation out on Silent Season. Besides being constantly preoccupied in reshaping her sound and developing new ways of expression through music, she's also a graphic designer and photographer under the alias Horty Shooter, managing the artworks for different music releases and graphic art projects.

The latest instalment of our Showcase compilation series lands with a trumpeted fanfare heralding the Ninth Wave of exclusive new cuts from a selected handful of the Selador roster. 

Neatly coinciding with the label’s annual adventure to the Amsterdam Dance Event where this year we will kick start our freshly formed Seladoria parties at Club NL on October 20th, it’s almost as if we planned it this way! 😉

Leading from the front, label bosses Dave Seaman & Steve Parry both contribute with individual productions. The former unveiling his huge ‘Donkey Engine’ production that has been a staple in his sets throughout the summer. Afro Techno anyone? 

Steve meanwhile is finally ready to share his tribute to a club that holds a special place in our hearts. Selador have enjoyed a series of fondly remembered parties at Watergate over the last few years and ‘Waterfloor’ is a paean to those treasured memories in Berlin. Fantastisch!

One of Dave & Steve’s long time friends and all round top geezer, the man like Danny Howells then returns to the label following the huge success of his ‘Earthlings X’ release of 2018 with the sublime ‘Dayshift’. Another expertly crafted slice of deepness that will set pulses racing. A touch of class. 

Spanish producer EdOne follows, teaming up with Stas Drive out of Kiev to create a bona fide gem in the form of ‘Poison’. Ironically, it tastes much more like sweet medicine to us. A real tonic for the troops in fact. Drink up! 

A big welcome back to another long time friend of the label next as Acumen provides us with further proof of his undeniable talent with ’Noir Profound’. Effortlessly captivating and affecting, it’s the sound of a master craftsman at work. C’est magnifique! 

And finally, we link up with the label’s Russian connection as Blaktone bring us ‘Saw Mantra’ with the underlying spirit of ‘French Kiss’ coursing through it’s veins albeit with a firmly applied contemporary twist. The St. Petersburg duo straddling past, present and future like a boss.
