Mantra (Extended Mix)

This release consisting of 4 songs that were created during the 12 months spent in a small town called Tralee (Tra Li from English. Irish). A town on the edge of the ocean on Ireland and Europe at the same time, in an area famous for its picturesque landscapes and incredible nature. This diversity and beauty are reflected in each of the 4 tracks. Because they were created over 12 months, at different times of the year, they are all different and have different inspiration for them. In October, adventure Tra Li ends and Krissky moves to Dublin for which this release is an excellent summary of these amazing 12 months.

Krissky - No Future No Past

With over 25 years in the game, André Galluzzi can respectfully be awarded the ‘veteran’ badge of honour. A mark of experience and longevity for an artist who has, as they say, been there and done it all. Today however sees the German take on a new adventure, with his debut release for Josh Wink’s Ovum Recordings.

As a DJ, André has held residencies at three of Germany and the world’s most influential Clubs - Tresor, Ostgut and Berghain. Been the driving force behind his own We Play Vinyl party. Managed his own Taksi (alongside Paul Brtschitsch) and Aras Record labels and featured his own music on such highly acclaimed imprints asCocoon, Cadenza, Ostgut Ton and Highgrade.

Back in 2001, having released his seminal mix compilation, 'Im Garten', André embarked on a new series of events that regularly saw him play intoxicating sets of up to 10-hours. The parties went by the name of
‘Submerge’ and those infamous Dj sets have inspired his beautiful brace for Ovum today.

The metronomic kick drum of the title track introduces us to its immersive groove, whilst bubbling and elasticated fx vie for our attention, adding a sublime swing to ‘Submerge’. On the flip, ‘Bold’, by name and nature, ups the swing ante with its fierce acidic melody, shimmering hats and rasping snare.

Die elfte Katalognummer des Londoner Labels @bade-records steht in den Startlöchern. Dieses Mal durfte @binaryfunction ran und hat drei Acid-Tracks produziert. „Ich führe ein hübsches und hektisches Leben“, so der Musiker aus Manchester, „ich kümmere mich um meine vier Töchter, und wenn es die Zeit erlaubt, liebe ich es, auf meinem Synthesizer auszuprobieren und neue Ideen zu schaffen.“ Er versuche so viel Musik wie möglich von so vielen verschiedenen Genres und Künstlern zu hören, wie es nur ginge: „Meine Familie, Freunde und die vielen Künstler, die ich höre, geben mir die ganze Inspiration, die ich brauche."
