„Deutsch sozialisiert und assimiliert“, der Klagenfurter Franz Inzko sucht nach seinen verdrängten, weil lange unterdrückten slowenischen Wurzeln

Der Arzt Franz Inzko sucht nach seinesgleichen, nach – seine Definition – „assimilierten Personen“. Mit seinem Verein will er diesen Menschen eine Stimme geben. Inzko stellte seine Initiative Ende September auf der Tagung „Volksgruppenpolitik – Politik von gestern oder Politik für Morgen“ in Klagenfurt/Celovec vor. „Assimilierte“ wird es viele geben, Kärntnerinnen und Kärntner, die ihre slowenische Muttersprache nicht mehr beherrschen. Vor 100 Jahren sprachen im südlichen Kärnten mehr als 100.000 Menschen slowenisch, nach „sanfter“ und brutaler Germanisierung wird geschätzt, dass höchstens noch 15.000 slowenisch sprechen. Ein Armutszeugnis Kärntner und österreichischer Minderheitenpolitik. Oder die Assimilierung war das Ziel.
