My heart smiles while listening to this beautiful piece of art. My first dream as a child was to be an orchestra director, I was always in love with classical music. My second dream was to be a chef and have my own restaurant. Unfortunately, I did not pursue any of those paths, but I am so happy to hear quality sounds like those in this composition. And how this music merge with the episode of chef’s table. My two most profound (sleeping) passions reunited. Thank you for sharing it with us your music. This piece is romantic, mysterious, magic, fabulous. Love it!

Amazing compositions Duncan! Absolutely loved the combination in pictures and music in this episode. I am desperately seeking the name/composer of the piece during the part where Mukhin is fencing starting at 38 min into the episode. Is it one of yours? It's piano and viola. Hope you can point me in the right direction!

My hope is these can be listened to in long form. Each suite is crafted to be a seamless journey for your imagination. Sometimes it feels like we're all moving a little fast, we forget to stretch out and enjoy things slowly.

I'm so so proud to share this latest batch of music with you guys. Each chef's story is meaningful in a different way and I'm thrilled that some of them belong to those who have been historically overlooked and/or mishandled.

Each episode of Chef's Table presents a unique challenge in finding a musical voice appropriate not only to place and scene, but also to the inexplicable dynamics of the human journey. In some cases it took genuine soul searching, more late nights than I care to admit, being plain old wrong and lots of heart to produce a worthy idea. But it's worth every drop of sweat if a story moves even a single person for a single minute, so thank YOU for searching this music out and for your attention :)

As Always I'd love to honor the musicians who make the pencil dance on the page. The Bratislava Symphony Orchestra was conducted by David Hernando Rico and the Symphonica Recording Orchestra was conducted by Vladimir Martinka.
