"With my electronic instruments, I take the universe’s 'Signal', and I try to build a bridge between my inner 'Signal' and outer space. This track is full of gentle synth washes, soft intricate details, and warm textures, and it eschews conventional songwriting form in favor of using textural layers of sound to evoke an atmosphere or mood without using prevalent musical tropes"

- Redes it means ‘Networks’ in Spanish – may be a departure from Sanfilippo’s usual, piano-led compositions, but it’s no less captivating or thoughtful. Deeply emotional and tender, it’s one of his most profound works to date – nine tracks full of gentle synth washes, soft intricate details, and warm electronic textures.

"I often", Bruno explains, "tackle universal themes in my music, expressing emotions that aren’t easily defined. We have never been as connected to each other as we are at this point in history. Ephemeral but extensive, our bonds have multiplied thanks to social media and new and fascinating technologies; ‘connectivity’, ‘signal’, ‘followers’, ‘crypto’… We are increasingly defined by those connections and bonds, both real and digital, and ‘REDES’ is my deconstruction of that idea"

The music was written and recorded during winter 2021/22 at Onix II Studio, in his mountain house on the outskirts of Barcelona.

This was created specifically for the "Extrospection" group for September 2014's image. (Music is created to fit the mood of the image). 
This seemed to suggest some European new wave cinema sort of feel, (Catherine's Eyes was an earlier version to get in the mood). It uses some signature Vangelis sounds, VP330, CS80 etc, and has a strong jazzy melancholic mood. Somewhere between "Blade Runner Blues" and "Memories Of Green", (regarding the latter I used the same retro computer game sounds that Vangelis used - Bambino UFO Master Blaster).
So this is very definitely my homage to those two tracks :)

Another venue for Warmth to showcase ambient and dub music's finest, Archives welcomes Heidelberg’s Luis Miehlich. The German’s debut LP, Silences, is the first production under his birth name rather than “woolookologie,” which he released with once before on Mango Alley. Alongside breathtaking collaborations with SineRider and Erder, Starlight’s pleasant atmosphere and delicate plucks serve as the perfect score to drift away to.

DR-69 : PORYA HATAMI - Kani + Remixes (incl. Darren McClure, Purl, Arovane, Tomotsugu Nakamura, Sven Laux) 

Originally released in 2013 on the Inner Ocean label, Porya Hatami’s “Kani” was a four track EP showcasing his intimate take on modern ambient music. The Iranian artist has issued a large number of albums that imbue pastoral ambient with subtle field recordings and melodies. The melodic aspect of Hatami’s work took centre stage in this release, and shone bright across the four pieces.

So now, seven years later, “Kani” is being given the reissue that it deserves, and will delight those listeners new to it, and those who are rediscovering it again. Besides the original four tracks, there are an additional five remixes by artists working in a similar orbit to Hatami, and some who have collaborated directly with him in the past.

These reworks cover plenty of ground, reimagining the source material into new shapes. Some remixes extend the foggy soundscapes and conjure delicate melodic plucks. Others add mellow pulses that infer rhythm under the washes of sound, while others take these rhythmic ideas much further.
