Written between Chicago and New York throughout 2023, 'Plateau' is a lacework of chiller dub-techno and ambient sparkle, crafted via recorded material, astute sampling, and live instrumentation. Rounded off with a stellar remix from your favourite ambient boyband (Purelink), this record is one for the serial unwinders.

On this month’s show, we welcome a guest mix from Bug Bus Piano - the NYC-based sound diarist whose work draws from lo-fi ambient, tape collage, and post-consumer emotional decay. This mix, like much of his work, walks the fine line between intimacy and entropy. Expect degraded tape textures, VHS hauntings, poetic interference, and moods pulled from beneath the asphalt.

I arrived in Los Angeles in 1989 where I become bi-costal traveling between Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco working in the Film and Music Industry. Dancing in the Sound Factory, End-Up, Ice Factory, Mayan, Orbit, the Cat Club and the underground of LA. I threw undergrounds in downtown Los Angeles and ran a legal warehouse for four years. This is my beginning. It will never end.
