The JP Phillippe Ambient Remix is already getting some proper love out there.

We are super excited to share this hidden gem of a vocalist, Ben Rasco.

Welcome to our final Just Move Records release of 2019.

Motion Sampler 03 is a 9 track album with music from South African artists with a touch of German.
I have chosen to showcase some new artists as well as some new music from established JMR producers.
I also compiled this album in memory of our brother Christopher Keys, a final auditory ode to all the lessons he left us with. ❤️

For our 26th release, we couldn’t be happier to bring you the Messive Muzik 'Life After Music’ Remix EP. Featuring remixes by some of South Africa’s finest artists, hand-selected by Messive Muzik themselves. We welcome back, Piere Johnson, with an ethereal remix of Messive Muzik’s, ‘You Know’ and warmly welcome Hypaphonik & Krippsoulisc who are releasing with us for the first time on this release who took on ‘Exotics’ and ‘Light’ respectively.


First up from label newcomer Hypaphonik, hailing from King William’s Town, the remix stays true to its home with soulful rhythms, featuring the memorable, vocal from 'Exotics'. Next up is Krippsoulisc's dubbed-out take on 'Light', which is perfect for any dancefloor, focusing on uplifting progression and low slung drumming. Thirdly, we have Ambious local Pierre Johnson’s remix of 'You Know.' This is an undeniable foot stomper with a bubbly bassline and some light melodic elements. 


Messive Muzik has been forging a path through the underground dance music scene in South Africa since 2014. What started as a part label, part collective eventually took flight as one of the industry’s brightest musical prospects. Fundile, Lizwi and Zingisa are at the controls in what is known as Messive Muzik today.


The trio combines deep house and melodic techno influences in their calculated performances – crafting backdrops for profound dancefloor experiences that move the feet and lift the soul.


Already boasting a near-prolific number of releases, Messive Muzik has made significant inroads into the local industry. The Life After Music EP on Ambious Records turned heads across the continent, and their signature sound is earning recognition from some of the industry’s finest talent.

The synergy of sounds and culture expressed in one song. It is a collaboration between three projects, four people from three different countries, South Africa, Mozambique and Serbia. The title of the song has a very strong epithet, and in this case, it represents the power that music has, precisely to unite people around the world. "Human After All", a song produced by Navaa, the duo Weston & Engine and Jelly For The Babies, we signed with great pleasure, where the original song was accompanied by a great remix, where Chris Sen & Guy Herman found themselves in collaboration! All in all, a unique release, a unique sound and a real refreshment for these upcoming December days.
