The Berlin based DJ loves to play electronic music in its many unique and complex forms. Varying from Deep House and Melodic Techno to Progressive House. She leads her audience into a dark and almost melancholic atmosphere where she controls it in a very distinctive way that always creates an unforgettable musical experience.

After forming a strong enthusiasm in music and truly engaging herself into the music scene, she was quick to find her base of actions at a club she can still call home, Karusell in Oslo. From that point she got the opportunity to host her own weekly Tuesday concepts there where she invited local talents to help them grow in the industry. Shortly after she had built her name locally she relocated to Berlin, to proceed further with her ambitious plans with her music. Since moving to the club culture capital, she has been seen on stages at KaterBlau, Watergate, Rummels Bucht, Beate Uwe, Crack Bellmer, Christa Kupfer, Sage and Zuckerzauber. Not to mention Lusatia Festival in 2021 where she had the honour of closing the festival.

Prepare to be swept away into a world of enchantment as I took the stage at Meeresrausch Festival 2023. From 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, I curated a 2.5-hour journey of Afro House, Melodic House, and Tech House, igniting the dancefloor with pulsating rhythms and captivating melodies.
As the clouds gracefully dispersed, the warm sun cast its radiant glow upon the gathering crowd. 

My DJ set at Meeresrausch Festival 2023 was a testament to the magic that unfolds when music and nature intertwine. The sunlit sky, the dancing waves, and the collective energy created an atmosphere that will forever be etched in our memories. It was a celebration of life, love, and the unifying power of music, leaving an indelible mark on the souls of all who were fortunate enough to be part of it.

Unsere Nr. 144 kommt heute aus dem hohen Norden.  Um genauer zu sein aus Bremen. Das hier immer ganz besondere Stadtmusikanten her kommen ist ja bekannt … vor allem auch musikalisch.

Die Rede ist von „Mauro Basso“. Das erste Mal bin ich vor gut zwei Jahren  auf Ihn über ein Live-Video auf seinem Facebook Kanal gestoßen. Mir wurde beim Zuschauen sehr schnell deutlich, welch Potential und Fertigkeiten er im Live-Arrangement besitzt. Dazu dieser erfrischende, eingängige, hypnotische und teilweise kraftvolle Sound, der bereits jetzt schon seinen Stil widerspiegelt. Doch auch als DJ weiß er zu punkten, was seine vielen Mittschnitte (unter anderem Fusion, Chalet, Renate…) und Podcasts belegen. Kein Wunder dass Mauro schnell zu einem angesagten DJ und Producer aufstieg. Neben vielzähligen eigenen Veröffentlichungen gründete er zudem 2011 sein eigenes Label „AUDITIVE“, auf dem Szenegrößen wie Mira, Chris Schwazwälder, Krink, Third Son, Jonas Saalbach uvm. Tracks veröffentlichen. Tendenz steigend.

Für Afterhour Sounds hat sich Mauro wieder ganz schön ins Zeug gelegt. Diesmal etwas ruhiger und langsamer wie sonst, gespickt mit einem Hauch von Ethno und einem ganz wunderbaren tribaligen Rhythmus. Doch auch der Druck lässt nicht zu wünschen übrig … Musik wie gemalt für eine perfekte Afterhour.
