Looking at my past in retrospect, gotta respect the strength I had to last

Depression 

No matter how much I try to hide my pain
No matter the amount of times I’ve felt so fucking ashamed 
No matter the toll that it’s taking on my brain 
No matter how much I’m fucking going insane 
Drowning in my sorrow and in my self hate
Wishing for it all to end just trynna get away
From these thoughts in my head, these visions over my eyes, these whispers I hear, taking over my mind 
Can’t be a normal man, can’t be a normal friend, can’t be a normal son can’t live a normal life 
Just wanna have it stop, losing track of all my time 
Living every day, a meaning to this life I try to find 
But nothing comes to me, a blankness I can’t deny 
Knowing that the life I live is the main reason that I wanna die 
I don’t know what keeps me going, knowing that I’d rather slit my wrist and see my blood flowing, 
until my eyes roll back into my head, and i leave this personal hell, sleeping forever in my bed, running from the pain that brought me to this point, doing what i said I would do, finally doing what was needed, letting my life flow out of me until I lay silent,

Every day it’s the same thing living through the same pain 
Waking up, working out, drown out these thoughts too loud
My expression through the yelling, fighting against the ache

People ask if I be okay, I tell them no they say explain, I say no cause id rather save you than have you hear my fucking pain and the suffering that I’m trynna get away from by putting a couple shots in my brain preventing the shit going out in escape  causing everyone else to see what’s happenin inside, it’s insane, the thoughts and the feelings inside me every day

Evolution of a mind of a man who almost offed himself by his own hand 

Realization that the act in fact caused his mind to backtrack and make amends
