A demo track involving an imaginary dialogue between a touring musician and someone who is curious about what his/her life experience as a musician is like. Apologies for one of the guitars having an electrical fault, which we only discovered later.

Mid-July Reflection

I wrote this track in South Africa in the mid 90s after the abolition of apartheid, an abhorrent system indeed. However, the level of crime in SA   was ( and still is)  extremely high and this song reflects my fears and paranoia about living in an environment where  one could be killed through crime and  be regarded as simply another statistic
The track is a rough demo done with my dear friends who live there. I currently live in Australia but Africa will always be in my heart and psyche. Tongaat, my hometown in SA, will always hold a special place in my heart.
