Facing some large trials and challenges has inspired me to do this piece.  Thinking of all those who are facing disappointments and  regrets in their lives.  This music came out of those honest feelings.

Did this cover as one of my first attempts to record my keyboard and try to do vocal.   Not so great but the message of the song has always gotten to me.

CHILD'S PLAY (where has innocence gone, what have we done)

Was working on another project when this one came suddenly and spontaneously.  I left it as I got it.  It is rather humbling to find that you are not the one in control of the music that is coming out.  The world is becoming darker and darker.   We need the light that can pierce the darkness.  This was my thought as the music came out.

LIGHT OF THE WORLD (a new dawn breaking)

My take on Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.  Inspired to do it this way after seeing a blood red moon.  Is something cold and ominous coming soon?  A prophecy soon to be fulfilled???

MOONLIGHT CHILLED (rough version)

Many years ago we invited an older gentleman I worked with to thanksgiving dinner.  After dinner asking about his family he said never married and all his family save himself were killed in a concentration camp.  To say the least I was shocked  and  shaken.  By the time he finished we all were crying and I was deeply moved.  Seeing a documentary just recently brought It all back.   Tried to put my feelings to music.  This spontaneous piece was made at that time.  I Cry still remembering that tattooed number on his arm.

HEAVEN CRIED

Was thinking recently what is true worship?  It came to me that like music it should come from the heart and then this music came to me.  It is spontaneous so it is not perfect but it is truly from my heart and I would like to think of it as a true worship .    Heaven knows we need hope in this new world we live in and in my thinking it starts with true worship of the  one who gives hope.

The reality of this pandemic outbreak is overwhelming..we are going to lose friends and family with this pandemic..brings me to tears thinking about it and can't believe it is happening..my uneasiness with this comes out in this piece..this is not a beautiful piece by any means  but a reflection of where I am emotionally locked in my house.  Maranatha!! and please pray for the victims and their families!!

A number of years ago while working in the ICU one of the patients died and coded after heart surgery. He was only 42 years old.  He did survive after being dead for about 15 minutes.  When visiting with him the next day he told me of his experience of going to heaven and given a choice to stay or come back.  He had smaller children and although he wanted to stay he chose to come back. What really made it interesting was that while we were coding him and before he left for heaven he could see us working on him and could give me details of what was happening. That is the inspiration for this piece.  Heaven is real for any who doubt....
