Composition – The Eclectic Collective

 This song began with a bass part that Jeff came up with and shared with Stephen, who had added some fiery guitar and foundational rhythm guitar to it. However, it languished on his digital shelf for many months as two parts, until he recently remembered that he had it. So, he decided to share it with the rest of the group. We were salivating, all of us, when we heard Jeff's bass line, so we began with Ken laying in the groovy drums and the tight, driving percussion, which propels the entire song. Once we had a beat, we decided to edit the part to include the break you hear about a minute into it. Mark took on that task, and deftly added the bass in that section, too. 

  Josh was up next, and decided to add a rhythm guitar inspired by Talking Heads. Once he had done that, he started hearing a simple, catchy melody in the main verse part, too, so he came up with some simple lyrics and recorded the vocals for that. At the same time this was happening, Ken also came up with some lyrics and a vocal melody for the breakdown part, which he added. After Ken had added his vocals, Josh added a harmony part on them. He also added the lap slide melody you hear in that section, as well. 

  JJ was next up to bat, laying in the breathtaking organ throughout. He also backdropped a canvas of synthesizer throughout and put in some electric piano too. Tez came along not long after and added the ripping guitar solo in the jam section. Once everyone had added their parts, it was up to Stephen to produce, mix, and master it. He arranged and added some length to it, then mixed it in his usual expert manner.

  This is the first song the Eclectic Collective has done with Jeff, though Stephen has worked with him in the past, and we were all fans of his music, and thus very excited for the chance to make music with him. Hopefully, this will be the first of many.

Changes:
-added 639Hz octave up(1278Hz - you can notice here an octave up is actually twice as many wave cycles per second or 639 x 2) in throughout from bar 9 and two octaves up (2556Hz) from bar 17.
-Changed length to 77 full bars. My Uncle Dick just passed away, our first family bereavement in while. He was 77 so, nicely, a bar for each year he had on Earth. Rest in Peace Dick
-Added a female voice an octave up from mine softly in the background. An AI model using my line (I don't have a human to work with on this yet so 🤷 ) Ive altered my opinion on this. When someone sings something two of the most important parts are delivery and the emotion behind it. So using my voice as a guide for an AI model carries and retains many of my nuances of expression and emotion. So I'll leave it in until some real singer can deliver it well instead 🧘 Obviously I'd prefer the emotion of a real female throughout the piece. It will get it in time...
-Added a repeated Kardia throughout with a light 1/2 second delay

To do:
-Change the first two Waved words to Waves and leave the third Waved in place. I prefer that sense
-Improve and expand unisons of Kardia throughout

Wrote this the night before the night before last after being challenged by my Auntie Jan to write a positive song. This the second session with this idea.

Jan, has been a special spiritual guide for me throughout my life so I needed to make it as close to her heart as I could. Jan believes strongly we should project positivity into the world so sometimes when I share my music with her, like my worried AI tune, Symbiosis, she turns into Obi Wan and I feel like Anikan Skywalker getting told off. It's a pretty epic relationship I have with her.

I tuned my keyboard E6 to 639Hz and this resonates throughout the piece. This is the heart solfeggio frequency. The words imagine us as spheres of energy, I suppose like Divinci represents symmetrically with his famous design.

The name Kardia is paying homage to Elpiverse. Yesterday, for most of the day I wished SoundCloud had repeat for the first time... (Eh have since been shown how to repeat 🙈) Her first song is incredible and really warmed my heart. Kardia can mean the heart of your energy in Greek. Or to quote one of the two angels that inspired this piece, Elpiverse, who kindly took the time to leave a lovely comment...
