Orchestral arrangement of Distant Promise from the Soundtrack of Xenogears by Yasunori Mitsuda.  The arrangement features a celesta playing the music-box melody, along with string, brass, and light percussion backing.  I have modified some of the harmonies in the original for sentimental effect.

Bordering the Faris Plains on the east, the Shelba Forest where the siblings expect to find the missing emissary. The forest becomes increasingly darker as the trees grow in height and thicker in foliage on the lonely path east toward Maniba.

This track is inspired largely by the work of Nobuo Uematsu and Yasunori Mitsuda.

The Drunken Gnome (Original Impressionist Piano Piece)

For this cover, I went for a more flowing style but preserved the broken chords throughout most of the piece to keep up the momentum.  Structurally, it doesn't stray far from the OST version.  I used a celesta sound in place of the vibraphone, since I think it better captures the chorus effect and long resonance of the original MIDI instrument.
