Those familiar with the Tarot will know that the Hierophant is usually depicted as a Pope. However, at the time of the ancient Greeks, when horns meant wisdom, the word ‘hierophant’ meant ‘revealer of the sacred mysteries’ . 

For an increasing number nowadays, our understanding of these mysteries has grown through the study of quantum physics, cymatics and sacred geometry, and so my song expresses that vision of the Hierophant.

On 6 November 1812, Commodore Issac Chauncey pursued HMS Royal George on lake Ontario to Kingston, before his squadron was beaten off by other gunboats and British shore batteries. In the Battle of Kingston Harbour, he was beaten off, partly by shore batteries and gunboats, and partly because a gun exploded aboard the schooner Pert, mortally injuring the schooner's commander and throwing the American squadron into confusion.
