Van begin 1998 tot de zomer van 2013 heeft RTV Noord de slogan 'Waar je Groningen hoort' gebruikt. Een kreet die moeiteloos werd meegezongen, gefloten of geneuried. De slogan zat 15 jaar lang ingebakken in de jingles en tunes van Radio Noord. Met Bart van Gogh en Anthony Timmers van Top Format heb ik enkele pakketten mogen maken voor RTV Noord. Ze waren allemaal gebaseerd op de jingles van het Amerikaanse station WNIC. In het voorjaar van 2007 maakten we en update: een combinatie van nieuwe jingles én opnieuw inzingen van tracks die we al lang gebruikten.

In 1999 they went on air, the little songs by JAM. This year we will probably say goodbye to this heritage sound. Here is the first package of the WNIC-series we used with great pleasure and fun!

JAM WNIC/Top Format Radio Noord 1999

Here's an overview of all JAM 'Really Nice' cuts we had resung for Radio Noord in 2001. It was the sequel to 'It's Nice' and 'Very Nice' two years earlier, at Top Format. The station boosted to a smashing 36% market share back then. 

The lyrics 'Radio Noord waar je Groningen hoort' mean 'Radio Noord were you here Groningen', a poetic way to say that anything that happens, can be found at the station.
