The sounds are really fun. Plucks and leads in particular.

Solid dance stuff.  The mastering sounds a bit loud/overloaded (that's rich coming from me this round).

SP may be right about the mastering. It does sound a tad crunchy. Does not detract from the fun though. I like how it's washy, without the wash obscuring things. Neatly done !  And very musical, with lots of nice moments. Some of which don't immediately stand out, leaving something to discover for repeat listeners.

I really like it when you go more original in terms of style, Rob.  This is nicely done.

Musically good, foreground sounds are "stylistic appropriate" ;-) , but in the background/reverb its really messy, up to a point where its sounds like having lots of unwanted artefacts in there.

the arp is lovely here,  there's maybe too much going on at once though

The stutter-step rhythm in the kick could be handed off to toms or snare or claps- that would fit better with the trance/dance vibe. I think the kick could take it for a few measures. Really liked the floating feel in the arps and chord progression.

Perfect Bob, full of melody and emotion. I love it.

Anyways this is my first time entering the contest!

If I remember properly there were 53 instances of Thorn, 3 instances of OTT, 41 instances of ReaEQ, 3 instances of ReEQ, 3 instances of Event Horizon Clipper, 1 ReaLimit, 2 JS Saturation, 1 ReaXComp, 2 instances of ReaGate, 1 instance of ReaComp, and I think thats everything. I used these just to make the song feel more full and to make the instruments blend together better. I also used the stereo width slider in the reaper tracks themselves a bit. Carla is just a bridge to run Windows plugins on Linux but it doesn't change the sound other than that, there are a lot of them though.

A minor silliness for One Synth Challenge 193, perpetrated in Reaper using:

DS Thorn - 28 instances for 13 instruments, 6 of those percussion. 
All single layer, the difference due to voice spitting. 
light clean-up duties performed by TDR Nova.
Widening of pads by A1 Stereo Control
A minor amount of delay applied to said pads with HY-Delay 4.
A smidge of reverb on the bass by Supermassive.
Snipping of drums done by CHOP & Flux Bittersweet.
Reverberated by several Protoverb and Supermassive, 
with the assistance of HOFA Pan & Delay, TDR Nova, A1 Stereo Control & JS MIxer.
At the master level, general polishing was done by TDR Nova, A1 Stereo Control & Bittersweet.
All louderizing by Limiter No6.
