A special mix I put together for dear friends Shambu & Khadija, on the day of their wedding, at Beaver point Hall on SSI. I was given the honour of playing the track (that they selected) for their first dance, and then kicking off the dancefloor. I leaned into funk, african, disco, and good old deep house, with a smattering of recognizable remixes that I also happen to love :) This was a very fun set to curate, and it meant a lot to me to be able to play it at such a special occasion!

Dodd - The First Dance (S&K's Wedding Mix)

Here is (minus the first 15 minutes) my midnight - 2AM impromptu trance set from the new Sunset Room series, The Labyrinth Experience. I got the honor of filling in for DJ Sasquatch (who was unable to make it due to the recent earthquake in mexico) and leading into Blue Lunar Monkey.

I'd already played a set at a different venue an hour before I played this one, so I was nice and warmed up (and also exhausted). Pulled out some new favorites alongside some old classics. The production value and talent involved with this show was top notch, and I felt like I really stepped up my game on this one as a result. Enjoy!

My Sunday early evening set from the sixth annual Inshala msuic festival in Fort Macleod, Alberta. A blend of mid-tempo and up-tempo sunshiney vibes with a complex edge. Played completely on the fly, I ranged all over the place in this one. This recording is absent the instrumentalist who decided to mic up and jam with me 2 minutes before my set started :) Big love to the organizers for bringing me out to play at this wonderful festival!
