Pien Verschiere is a Dutch 24 year old techno DJ based in
Deventer. Pien is co-founder of DE ONTGROENING and has been
playing herself for several years now.
She has done several podcasts so far, including podcasts for
Groovecast, Septic Amsterdam, Cursed and ARTDICTIVE.
Pien is mainly inspired by a combination of industrial (hard) techno,
both hard trance and psy trance, and oldschool (acid) techno.
She loves to keep it up-tempo.
Her goal is therefore to create a “fast paced” ambiance with funky
sounds and vocals here and there where fanatics can lose
themselves to.

Demi Papagni è un dj e produttore con base a Torino. Il suo stile ha varie 
influenze derivate dal suo percorso di studi e di vita. Fin da piccolo ha sempre 
studiato musica classica presso il conservatorio di Torino. Si è affacciato poi 
alla musica punk, di cui rispecchia tutt'oggi ancora l'estetica, mista ad una realtà 
più scura figlia di turbolenze varie che hanno contribuito al percorso di sviluppo 
musicale dell'artista. Nella produzione, ha tendenze neo-rave che, nonostante 
ciò, concernono a pieno con le varie influenze prima citate. Una forte 
personalità, mista a passione e amore per l'arte a 360 gradi.

This week’s Friday Techno Drop marks the final chapter of Acrylic Synthesis.
Track 30: “CALL TO ATHENEA” is not just a song—it's the closing arc of a project that’s spanned 30 weeks, 30 moments, 30 stories made of bass, rhythm, and reflection.

This release is built from two tracks I originally wrote as the intro and outro for one of the most important live sets I’ve ever played. It carries a poem I wrote about life, fear, and bravery—spoken from a place of stillness between movement. It speaks in verses and synths, in textures and silence.

Sonically, it’s a fusion of everything that’s come before—massive, bright chord progressions, acid lines, distorted electric guitars, fast-paced techno percussion, and deep, immersive basses. It’s euphoric. It’s vulnerable. It’s the storm and the eye.

This is the end of Acrylic Synthesis, but also the threshold of a new era.
A new cycle begins soon… and with it, a new language of sound, metal, and motion.
