Opening sets are fun. 
I had the pleasure of doing a 4 hour opening set at our last Hiss & Hertz party at WAS. In my hometown Utrecht. I tried recording it but my devices failed me beyond the first hour… nevertheless, I’m happy to have captured that first hour, as I rarely get to start a vibe from zero anymore. Picture a bunch of smoke, no lights and an empty club when I started :)

Doelman is a musician based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, who discovered his love for piano at the age of 21. He has since expanded his musical horizons to include synthesizers.

Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres, he uses a combination of analog synthesizers and digital tools to create music that is both expressive and immersive.
